We picked possibly the wettest weekend in the whole year, it didn't rain, it poured! In spite of that we had a good time, the cabañas have all basis amenities, large enough shower room, wardrobes for our clothes, a kitchenette and most important heating/air conditioning. The heating was on day and night, it was so cold. Unfortunately the bungalow was quite close to the road and we had noisy neighbours (groups of young lads), but when we complained to reception they were told to cut it off or lose their deposit, however I had my ear plugs and slept quite well. The best part was the kids entertainment, what with the roller skating, mini club, football match, kayaking, surfing (in the freezing water), and mini disco or cinema at night they were well entertained. We also took part in Pilates classes and a 3 hour excursion up the mountains. Manu and Andrés were always nice to the kids. The campsite itself is pleasant and well kept, the indoor swimming pool was the only warm place so was quite full, I agree that the reception staff are a bit short. We did not use the onsite bar, so cannot comment on that. Beach is close enough, 10 minute walk. All in all a very good experience and we will be back soon.

After taking every possible wrong turn in trying to find this camping (make sure you arrive off the A7/N340, not the AP7), we finally arrived on our first camping of our one week trip. We ended up coming back twice, so they must be doing something right. The camping is simply pleasant, and everything is right. the parcels are clean (peddles! yeah), they have a heated indoor pool, the ambience is good, there is a nice cafe and a really good restaurant with it. The intend is to attract the older (longer) vacationer but family and kids will have a good time too.

Room Tip: Take the A7/N340, not the AP7. From the south, after taking the right exit (cambio de sentido "...

Enjoyed a pleasant 3 night stay at Cabopino. Good facilities & pitches all round. Great choice of eating places. Well located for Marbella & surrounding area. Easy to find & well signposted. A recommended site for motorhomes.

We stayed on this campsite in August 2011. We had requested a quiet spot before we went and they did their best to assign us one. Considering that we went in the height of the holiday season, it wasn't too bad. The little bar on the campsite served good value meals and I wish we had eaten there every night. Instead we went to a couple of restaurants in the area near the beach and they were very expensive. The campsite was very close to the beach - just a 5 minute walk away which was great. We stayed quite late at the beach every day. I was very surprised to see that the beach is a surfing beach which I've never seen before on the Mediterranean! The sea can cut up a little rough as well and we saw a dramatic rescue by the Beach Lifeguards - very exciting!

The beach bar is very good and has a happy hour between 5 and 7 pm - great for the end of the day jug of Sangria! It was also good for lunch and they have Tapas too.

There is a little supermarket on the campsite, a nearby petrol station and a little supermarket near the beach to pick up essential items. The only downside was that the camping plots were covered in cat poo (there are lots of people living on the site and they own cats - where else can they go except for a nice flat gravelly piece of ground?!)

Great site and excellent value out of season if you stay for one month or longer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of activities but can be very noisy at weekends. Took out Internet access for one month at 39 euros - found it to be rather slow and intermittent on the wireless router I was on. Would definitely go to delft net as it much faster and 9 euros month cheaper!
Great bar, good value. At entrance to site there is a quality restaurant - pricey - so good for a treat!!!
Careful selection of pitch necessary as parts of site can flood.

Room Tip: Take time to select pitch

The beach is a 5 minute walk away and had a fantastic bar, possibly one of the best beach bars I've drank at. The site had a small shop for essentials/ice cream. It was very quiet, even early in the morning. The pools aren't fab but the location for the beach made up for it

Lots of people living on the site are trying to sell.
