“Great location”
Reviewed September 7, 2013 via mobile

Great location, big rooms, excellent staff, only little moan needs a bar/restaurant that stays open past 16:00, but then marbella old town has loads of great bars/restaurants and is just a short stroll away.

The room was very spacious and clean, I had a great sea view. Receptionist and staff are very friendly and helpful. Only disadvantage is that the garage next to the hotel is super old, the elevators seem to get stuck all the time and it is very tight and spooky as there are not enough lights inside.

We stayed at the Princesa Playa in mid August as a group of 4. We found the location amazing and the pool quiet, clean with a beautiful view.
We didn't make use of the facilities much apart from the pool and Reception area (for free Wi-Fi) and so this was probably a little on the expensive side for room only.
However, the location was amazing and we had a relaxing time in the day but were really close to some lovely bars and restaurants in the evening.
We did have some teething problems with the room but the team were on hand to attend to them and the electrical problem was soon fixed with the arrival of a new fridge!
The staff were really friendly and were on hand to give advice about taxis etc.
I would definitely use this hotel again if in Marbella.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view.

Pros
+ Very well priced
+ Fantastic seafront location with many shops and restaurants directly outside (the nightlife is unbeatable). Also very close to the supermarket.
+ A clean and reasonably sized pool on the roof top (it is lovely and quiet up there)
+ Stunning views of the sea and mountains from the rooftop and many of the rooms
+ Often many free sun beds
+ Staff friendly and helpful

Cons
+ Room could be cleaned more thoroughly (often lots of dirt on the floor and fresh bed sheets were not always very clean)
+ Walls very thin
+ Some of the sun beds aren't very comfortable

We will definitely return to this hotel in future due to its fantastic location, reasonable pricing and functional rooms.

Came here for a relaxing holiday in June and the hotel was exactly what we wanted. I booked here as I'd seen it had good reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. We stayed room only and ate breakfast and lunch in our appartment quite often, so it's a good option if you're on a bit of a budget. Only comment on the kitchenette provided was that it would have been nice to have some scouring pads provided and some washing up liquid as they are very expensive to buy in the supermarket. So would recommend bringing some with you if you're going self catering! The pool area is small but pleasant and there always seemed to be enough sunbeds for everyone. The views from the pool area too are really lovely! I would recommend getting a sea view if possible, we didn't request one so our balcony overlooked a rooftop but this didn't really spoil anything. Reception is very nicely presented and the staff do their best to help you with questions and recommendation for places to eat. The location is good as it is on the main seafront with all the bars, restaurants and main beach a very short and pleasant walk away. This isn't really the place to go clubbing though, and if you're looking for a party every night it's best to go up the coast to Puerto Banus, you can go on a lovely catamaran trip over there for fairly cheap. There were 2 clubs we saw that we would have tried put but as we were a few weeks early, the season hasn't really started and the clubs were closed. This also meant that the bars and restaurants all closed fairly early too, usually about 12:30 - 1:00am. Would imagine they stay open later in mid season. Overall a great holiday and very relaxing!

It's not the first time we stay here, I always suggest it to my family and relatives too.
We traveled with two little daughters, the apartment is perfect to prepare some quick snack or breakfast for them (and us).
The location is great, just on the Paseo Maritimo, near any facility you may need, such as restaurants, beach, nightlife, taxi, town center.
We didn't book the breakfast because it's a bit expensive, 12,5€ per person and something like 6€ for kids. We normally just have a coffee, so it's not worth for us.
The hotel is kept very clean and shiny, the staff is kind and ready to help.
We'll surely be here again.

Room Tip: Rooms in front of the beach cannot be booked in advance. It's just a question of luck and occupa...

This hotel was a good find. It was close to the beach, the bars and restaurants and the supermarket. The reception staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The rooftop pool was lovely and quiet. Safety deposit boxes are available in the rooms at a charge and there is free wifi in the lobby only. There's an area to leave your cases after checkout (midday) and courtesy showers. It's also worth a trip to Puerto Banus - €15 in a taxi.
