We stayed a couple of nights, the room were spacious clean and really good. The view of the sea is incredible. On top of that, all the staff were really attentive and nice! The SPA is amazing and the masseuse were really good too.

Having booked a family holiday we were expecting to have rooms close to each other. We had 3 rooms booked and two were together and the other room was in a totally different building. As we checked out we were charged double for the room (an extra €800) which was in a different area despite us asking to be put together. The room was exactly the same as the other room but we were told we had to pay €800 for a better view which we did not even ask for. The reception manager said we always charge €30 a night for this better view. When I explained it was over €100 extra per night he seemed flustered but would not take anything off the final bill even though he looked totally embarrassed by it.
The gym here is a shambles with the main machine not working and all the equipment is old with the electrics to the machines not working.
We came home one evening and realised we had left the key in the room and so we sent our 14 year old to collect the key. The reception refused to give him the key mistaking him for someone else who had a key for another room.
The hotel is a bit worn and the reception staff are not very friendly. The house keeping staff were very helpful and kept the rooms clean.
The breakfasts are the same every day and a bit of variety over the week would have been nice. The evening buffet was expensive with the hotel charging the same rate for kids as they did for the adults. This was around €45 per person for a buffet which is expensive.
I have to say all in all we had bad experience at this hotel and would never return. This hotel is all about how much money they can make. On top of all that happened we asked if we could extend the room until 6pm on a later check out and were told we would need to pay €40 for this. I thought the least we could have expected was a reduced rate for the extra few hours. We will be telling our friends the same as 30 of us were coming back next year but will now be cancelling this booking to go somewhere else in the area.

Dear Guest,
We are very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay and you will never return.
Further to your review, we are very surprise with your words as you have insinuated we gave those rooms trying to charge you more and actually, we gave you what you booked through an online web.
The difference between the Standard and Superior room is the view. The room you mentioned with different price is because you booked a room for 3 adults and Superior category with sea view. The other rooms were double and Garden view. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the proximity between rooms with different categories, even though we do not have any notice from you about your wishes.
Concerning your comments about the fitness room, we will take them into consideration and we will follow all the procedures to improve this service.
Finally, as you can see in your bill, you were not charged for the late checkout service.
We hope you can give us another chance and you can enjoy our Hotel in the near future. Do not hesitate to contact us in directly, we will recommend you and assist you in your bookings.
Yours sincerely,

My husband and I were looking for a break from sightseeing in Portugal and Spain and my husband wanted to play golf. We stayed here for 2 nights and had an enjoyable stay. Our room was lovely with a lovely view of the water with a patio area. The weather was great the first day of our stay, unfortunately it rained the 2nd day so my husband only got 8 holes of golf in, and I didn't get my time on the beach. (hardly the fault of the hotel!). Still, a relaxing 2 days. We would recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for one night in late September on our way from Granada to Sevilla. After many days of sightseeing, we wanted a day just to relax by the ocean, to swim, and rest without visiting any churches or historical sites. We chose this hotel for its location away from the high rise hotels of Marbella and because of the excellent reviews of Guadalmina Beach.
Check in time is late, but we asked for early arrival and were shown immediately to our room shortly after noon.
Our room, a junior suite, was very large, well appointed, clean, and had excellent views of the ocean from our private balcony. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom had a very nice shower in addition to a separate jetted tub. I felt that the quality of this room was a bargain for the price.
The pool area was well kept, the pool large and clean. The beach, itself, was almost deserted. The water was clean. Swimming was excellent. One should be aware that the beach is not sandy, but rather quite rocky. This is typical of the area.
The restaurant has wonderful ocean views. Our evening meal was a buffet, mainly of seafood. There was an excellent selection of foods including local specialties. Although the quality was good, it was certainly not gourmet. Breakfast was very adequate and included in our stay.
We did not golf or engage in any of the spa activities during our stay.
All in all, this hotel met our specific needs perfectly. For those wanting the same, I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment. But it is quite a bit outside of Marbella proper, and for those wanting the excitement of the city, this might not be a good choice.

We enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel despite being apprehensive due to recent negative reviews on trip advisor. Rooms very good size - lovely views over golf course and sea. Quiet location. Restaurant had superb ocean views. Breakfast was excellent with good quality irange juice and coffee. good choice of food in evenings. Staff friendly and helpful. good value relative to other hotels in this area. Would stay again.
