Visited this restaurant, enticed in by the 17.5 euro 3 course deal, which in fairness was reasonable, starter of calamari was very good, main of sole was good, pudding of pancake was poor. Now it goes downhill, you have to have bread at a charge & then comes the price of the drinks.. very expensive! Service was very slow & surly probably because not surprisingly we didn't drink much. Waited 20 mins for pudding when it wasn't exactly busy! had it banged on the table. Other people were complaining about poor food, service & price. Food is reasonable but be aware of the added cost of drinks etc. to make up for the 'cheap' 17.5 euro meal.

We visited Azul Marino with friends in Aug'13, we had no reservations and due to high season of Puerto Banus we had to wait for 45 mins. We ordered a set menu one with cod fish-chips and the other with paella con gambas, both were satisfactory. There are also gambas pil pil ( shrimp with butter) and fried calamari in the menu that guarantee you will be full by the time you are finished. The service was a bit slow, again due to being very crowded. White wine was ok, not overpriced. If you are a fan of eating at Puerto Banus, you may visit Azul Marino once but nothing in particular to see i would say.

We were looking for a relatively cheap night and were drawn in by the fixed price menu. The price is a bit deceiving - by the time you've added in the cover charge and tax you can add 30% to the advertised price. However this is Puerto Banus and you don't expect to eat cheaply. We ate out around 10 times during our holiday and I can remember what I ordered on each occasion, except here. My dish must have been pretty unremarkable. My wife however can remember hers. She ordered the casserole. When it arrived, as with some other reviews, we were unable to determine what meat it was. It was cold on the inside so probably reheated in the microwave. We should have complained and sent it back but my wife ate it and then suffered 24 hours of stomach problems.

At one point in the evening, whilst clearing dishes the waiter spilled some gravy on the floor next to our table. Soon after, the aptly titled front of house lady only just managed to keep her balance as she slid through it. I noticed her mention it to another member of staff but in the remaining half an hour that we were there it was not cleaned up. Another waiter dropped half a lemon on the floor near the main entrance. It was noticed by a number of the staff but each one just gave it a kick and it was still there as we left.

A thoroughly unsatisfactory experience and the worst meal I have had in Puerto Banus in the 20 years I have been going there

Awful food ordered steak but I am unsure what animal it came from totally gray. Charged 15 euros for a few slices of bread. Would never go back it's a total tourist trap on the port with far better cheaper resturaunts in the hills.

Ate here twice with group of friends on a short break. First time was ok dorado was nice but second visit was served a fish soup that smelt rancid and a couple of other people had some issues with their food. That said staff were very apologetic and did change the items so maybe it was just a bad night but wouldn't go again
