We were looking for a relatively cheap night and were drawn in by the fixed price menu. The price is a bit deceiving - by the time you've added in the cover charge and tax you can add 30% to the advertised price. However this is Puerto Banus and you don't expect to eat cheaply. We ate out around 10 times during our holiday and I can remember what I ordered on each occasion, except here. My dish must have been pretty unremarkable. My wife however can remember hers. She ordered the casserole. When it arrived, as with some other reviews, we were unable to determine what meat it was. It was cold on the inside so probably reheated in the microwave. We should have complained and sent it back but my wife ate it and then suffered 24 hours of stomach problems.
At one point in the evening, whilst clearing dishes the waiter spilled some gravy on the floor next to our table. Soon after, the aptly titled front of house lady only just managed to keep her balance as she slid through it. I noticed her mention it to another member of staff but in the remaining half an hour that we were there it was not cleaned up. Another waiter dropped half a lemon on the floor near the main entrance. It was noticed by a number of the staff but each one just gave it a kick and it was still there as we left.
A thoroughly unsatisfactory experience and the worst meal I have had in Puerto Banus in the 20 years I have been going there
