“A nice place by the sea”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

Been coming here for 5 years
Although the food is ok the service can be a little poor and some not so nice waiters. But the venue is great as you are right next to the beach.
The only off putting thing is the constant stream off lookey lookey men which after a while can get tedious.

“not very impressed”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

I don't want to be nasty so lets say that the best thing was the rolls and butter and the olives were good. The Malaga fish fry up says it all. Not cheap, not going back.

“Steady quality, great location”
Reviewed May 6, 2014 via mobile

For years we have been coming to Marbella and we never skip a lunch or two at La Red. Great food, good service and perfect setting. Take a table at the beachfront, under the filtered sunlight of the palmtrees. Order a fishdish (seabass in saltcrush, sardines from the bbq, stuffed, marinated squid...) with a bottle of white Sol... Living like God in Spain ;)

“Restaurante La Red Marbella beach”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

A friend who we had not seen for over 2 years arrived in Marbella for week and asked to go to a typical Spanish fish restaurant. Thus started a most enjoyable lunch time on a very pleasant Spring day, at La Red, which is a very busy Chiringuito, along the Marbella Beach.
The menu is almost overwhelming with about 200 items to choose from their mainly fish
and shellfish fair. There are sufficient Meat, Pasta, Paella, and Salad dishes, to keep you happy, as well as a well stocked bar, from which we chose the house white.
We shared a ‘La Red Salad’ and followed this with grilled Rosada (a much underrated fish)
and Sardines, all were delicious. (see photo)
This is a bustling place, right on the beach, and was pretty much full, and although the service was a little slow, ‘Who’s in a hurry’ .

This a paper tablecloth and serviettes place, that serve good food, at reasonable prices,
and we will certainly be coming back to try and work our way through the menu.

You will find La Red roughly in the middle of eight or so chiringuitos built under the Paseo
Maritimo at beach level between the end of C/Gregorio Maranon and the end of Avenida (you cant miss it, every thing is coloured red). It can seat over 200 diners average 3 cours meal with wine 30€ They are open for lunch only in the winter months but from 1st May they will open from 9:30 in the morning to midnight. Bookings on 95282 1450 & 95286 8502

“Just to feel welcome and eat well”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

We have been visiting La Red for several years. This place is the best in Marbella, really good food and staff like friends, you feel welcome at any time.
We like to have seafood, good wine and then you have everything to spent marvellous moment relaxing on beach side, eat - look to the sea, discuss to your spouse and to staff - to share the feeling.
