Food very nice, however it was very busy, not enough staff to cope with all the customers. Our party was very large, 16, so the waiters had a problem dealing with all of our orders in a timely fashion. Atmosphere ok, some of the waiters could be a bit more observant when customers are requesting service.

I enjoyed the tapas at this traditional Spanish eatery but it's location opposite a supermarket does leave a bit to be desired.

My husband really struggled with the dogs sniffing around us as we ate, the cigarette smoke and the traders trying to sell us knock off Designer glasses.

The waiters did try to 'encourage' us to order the higher priced items but were good natured enough when I declined their suggestions.

We ate at 8pm on a thursday evening and were lucky to get a table. Many of the other diners were Spanish which I took as a good sign.

I would not recommend the house wine - very much like vinegar; and if you fancy paella or tortilla you need to eat at lunchtime.

Hello Good evening!!! A few friends recommended to us this site, and we could not stop going!! The truth, that everything what they have this one really incredible! They recommended to us the foie of duck.. And it was exquisite! The service is super nicely, attentivly and correctly; I delight that the kitchen was opened from 12 to 12! Undoubtedly we will return!

A very busy place with a good atmosphere. We ate early, around 7.30 and got a stable for two without issue but many turned up later and were either disappointed or had to sit up on barrel tables. If u go at a weekend or in August I'd book or be disappointed. Lots of Spanish which to me is a good sign. Didn't encounter any of the problems mentioned in other reviews re waiters being pushy, they were all very nice and friendly. Menu has tapas, half and full portion prices for most of the selections, so you can choose your portion size. The meatballs, pil pil prawns and aubergine in honey were excellent. The mixed salad was huge and in all was an excellent meal. Out fried squid didn't appear but was on the bill but when highlighted immediately removed without fuss. The chocolate brownie and ice cream was yummy and finished off a very good meal. The constant turnover of customers shows this to be a popular restaurant , even when the place next door had empty tables this one was busy. Totally recommended.

Despite its less than tempting location, this lively tapas bar is one of the better restaurants in the Elviria area, and we found it to be always busy, even in cold January. The atmosphere is welcoming and the menu is extensive, and mostly reasonably priced, and all the dishes we chose were of a good quality. The downside is the waiters, in particular the head waiter, will be quite persistent in trying to get you off the menu and on to the overpriced specials, and you really have to work quite hard to refuse his relentless recommendations. I suggest you get the most assertive member of your group to handle the ordering, and he will eventually turn his attention elsewhere. That said, once the food and drinks arrive, you won't be disappointed - unless, of course, you have smokers at the adjoining table, and pets under it, as we did. Despite the signs on the wall to the contrary, the staff weren't interested in sorting this issue out.
