“Excellent food DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT !!!!!!!!!”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We where originally going to go to ZoZoi which is just down the road but as it was sunday this was shut. We met a couple who went the night before for a birthday and said it was well worth a go, my goodness we are soo glad that we did. My wife had the chicken topped with sage and onion stuffing, this was cooked really well and was very nice, i had the irish beef, which was cooked perfect and was really very very nice. On arrival you are treated to free homemade bread of the day, we had morocan spice, with butter, pickled garlic and tapenade. Creme brulee was to die for and i would give it a go. Although only a small place the service was good and people really friendly. Well worth a trip to this place, give it a go and enjoy ;-)

“Busy restaurant with a with british/Irish in mind”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

4 of us ate here on Saturday night the restaurant was very busy with 2 large parties present.
The food was disappointing, the clams were over cooked but the sauce was very good.
The monkfish was over cooked and dry.
Most of the main courses are served with potatoes

Our 4 course meal with wine and water was 50euro/head
Maybe on a quieter night we might have had a different experience.

“Fantastic”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

My daughter and I ate here on Saturday night and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The food was excellent; I had fillet steak cooked to perfection and the wine wonderful. Great atmosphere expecially when a Spanish guitarist came in and entertained us. Owner also has a tapas bar called Arca which was next to where we were staying which also has the same positive vibe. Staff efficient and friendly. Would recommend a visit.

“Amazing Food - Do Not Miss”
Reviewed September 24, 2012 via mobile

The Orange Tree was by far the best restaurant we ate at during our stay in Marbella. The food was fantastic - very tasty and imaginitave. I had the Pâté with Goat's Cheese Brûlée to start, the Irish Beef Fillet for my main course and the White Chocolate and Raspberry Creme Brûlée for dessert - all was absolutely perfect! The only criticism I have is that our young daughter was served the frozen fries instead of the hand cut "fat chips" that I was afforded, which I would have preferred for her.

The ambience is lovely and the staff very friendly and attentive. However, they do get very busy and this can result in slow service so be prepared to be there a while!

Try and book ahead as they are often packed for evening service.

Overall, highly recommended.
