Food menu is very big and normally if this is so big, you cant hold the quality! We order beef carpaccio - what was not something special, two old leaves of rucola and frozen beef without any seasoning. Then we ordered a lasagne and this was the best what i have ever had, even the Italians cant to better :) We defenetly next time will dry the live lobsters and baby big (suckling big!). Service was nothing special and english was poor, but lady had smile on hes face. We was guite a suprice, if they charge 4€/per person for the bread! We was few days ago in Messina restaurant and Michelin star Skina restaurant and even they charge 50% less - but the bread was good :)

I have driven past this place hundreds, if not thousands, of times and never had the desire to step inside.

A friend of mine ( whose father lives nearby and also uses it ) suggested we eat there in early October. I had a look at the website before I went and was amazed at what I saw.

Now this place looks like a Spanish transport cafe from the outside but inside you would think you had been transported ( no pun intended ) to another world. Traditional Spanish would be a good way to describe the internal decor.

The menu is simply stunning. We had a mixture of starters, the highlight of which was black pudding stuffed with rice. You must try it!

For main course I had leg of lamb which is normally cooked for a minimum of 2 persons. Around the table there was also suckling pig and chateaubriand. I had a taste of both and they were delicious.........as was mine.

There was a selection of desserts which were mainly "cake like "

Aside from the look of the restaurant's exterior, the only other downside would be the prices. We had a set menu which was €70 for 2 persons.............good value, but the "a la carte" menu had some very expensive items on it.

I would definitely revisit this establishment which, incidentally, is open 24 hours a day and does takeaway.
