There was a niggling concern that if we were going to have a problem somewhere, this would be it, as the entire city of Malaga was almost booked out at the time we made the booking, due to a large conference in town. We did have to pay a premium for a standard room. However, while we arrived to find that the hotel was indeed full, the good news was they had to upgrade our room to a suite, and how sweet that was! It certainly made the accommodation value-for-money.
The location is not great if you want to spend time in the town, as it is a walk of around 15-20 minutes. Or just a few Euro in a cab. However, we had planned a day down on the beach, and for that it is perfect as it is right at both the train and bus stations. We tried out the restaurant and ordered the special 3-course menu. While it was quite classy and certainly good food, the size of the entree pasta was ridiculously large - so skip the special I would advise.More
