We've stayed in a number of central Malaga hotels and for price this one is hard to beat. The location is good - very central for nightlife and close to the Cervantes Theatre. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and functional. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel as there are so many choices around and about the hotel. The reception staff were lovely - very helpful. Would I stay here again - yes, I would if I were simply looking for a good, clean room overnight in a central location at a good price.

We were staying at the hotel del Pintor during our four-day- stay in Malaga. Hotel has perfect location near the center of the city in walking distance to main attractions of Malaga. We had a room from patio side so we couldn't complain for lack of silence. The room was big enough and was cleaned each day. The staff was friendly and helpfull. What's more we really liked the decor of the hotel. We were satisfied with our stay there and could recommend this hotel everyone.

Room Tip: Rooms from patio side are quieter rather then those from street side

A cute hotel with disturbing/ eye opening art, rather clinical, we had a nightmare first night with ridiculous noise from the street, may as well have invited all the drunk people on the street- which is party/ bar heaven- back to our room for a 6 hour nightcap, NO sleep at all, staff changed our room with a resigned shrug, someone tell them to rearrange this place so the streetfacing rooms are used for daytime activities, this street is completely mental at night, screaming, vomiting, shouting, all hosed down by the ayuntamiento the next morning-blimey.. I love Spain. Perfect if you have a back room, or you're in a coma.
Great location, crappish breakfast, great bars/ vino mio near. You have been warned.

This hotel has a great location and is within walking distance of downtown nightlife. However, the rooms are extremely basic, and the hotel is nothing flashy at all. However, they do offer overnight parking (8pm-9am) and charge by the hour after between 9am and 8pm (daytime). Their parking garage is located about 2 blocks down the road. Also, this hotel is very small... Only 17 rooms in the entire hotel.

We stayed in Málaga for a couple of nights. The hotel is clean, the location is very good, less than 5 minutes walk to the historic centre and a 20 minute walk to the Malagueta beach. The only downside was the fact that our room had no window towards the outside of the hotel - therefore it was always humid and hot - a really weird room, try to avoid it!

We were handed this little gem from the Malaga bus station info desk. In the heart of the old city, less than 15 mins from the Alazabar, Cathedral and Picasso museum, what more do you want for a short stay in Malaga? The rooms were very clean and the beds the best we had slept in during our visit to Spain with super soft sheets and plenty of exta pillows and blankets. Everything worked in the rooms and the Pepe art made a tour of the hotel (though short) very interrestng.
For 55 Eueros for a double room, what more could you want? The staff were very friendly and helpful - a great stay.

Close to the old town but on quite a busy street so ask fir a room at the back Can be noisy on our first night there was a party of middle aged Spanish ladies who came back at two am and proceeded to talk loudly on the balcony which echoed but second night was quiet The staff were very friendly and helpful but the breakfast was overpriced but there are lots of cafes nearby which serve breakfast at reasonable prices For a short break this hotel was ideal rooms on the small side but clean but could do with a refurb
