This hotel is in the perfect location if you are spending time in Malaga. It was a few minute walk to the beach and under ten minutes to get to the central plaza. Hotel is located right next to the bull fighting ring which was an interesting experience to see from our deck. You could also see the castle and alcazaba from the room. Request a higher floor for beautiful views. Only complaint was there was a coffee machine in the room, but no supplies for coffee including coffee itself which we found odd.

Nice clean hotel with big rooms. Breakfast OK. Fantastic view from the top floor. Close to everything in the city center with museums, cathedral, tropical park etc. as well as the beach. The bus to the airport stops on the other side of the junction.

TripAdvisor members rated this hotel as a 4 and this is definitely right, this hotel is all about the excellent location and not about the facilities. I recently stayed in the Avanti Hotel in Paphos, which was excellent and had everything you could ever wish for, but this hotel had very little to offer in terms of a swimming pool, traditional bar, entertainment, evening meals etc. This hotel appealed to us for the location, and ease to get around and see things, the bullring was directly outside our window, the great beach was literally 2 minutes away, the harbour with all the bars, shops and boat trips all within a couple minutes walk. The walkways to the Alcazaba of Málaga and Gibralfaro were just behind the hotel, an excellently priced bakery/cafe was directly opposite the hotel, this is a great hotel for being the the middle of everything. No need to take the expensive city sightseeing bus tours, its all walk-able from here. For the hotel itself, the staff were great, we had a room to the rear facing the bullring, totally adequate, clean, maintained everyday to a high standard, a small balcony, with no chairs unfortunately, free safe, fully stocked drinks in fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. There was a viewing terrace on the 12th floor with sun beds and a Jacuzzi, a massage parlour and a fitness room. There was a drinks service up to the terrace until 9:30 when unfortunately the terrace closes. Breakfast was really good, a selection of cold meats, cheeses, jams, cereals, freshly baked bread/rolls or a traditional cooked breakfast, all was good, the room also faces out onto the main road with an excellent view of the harbour and the other attractions already mentioned. If like my wife and I you don't really use the facilities of a traditional hotel with everything included to spend a lot of your time in then this a great hotel for you, I'm so glad we stayed here and the location made it so easy to see everything, Malaga is a great place itself with lots of things to see, and an excellent base to visit other places as well, we travelled to Seville, Gibraltar, Cordoba, Rondas and Granada in our week, a lot of travelling but enjoyed every minute, we used Rubens Tour by the way which were excellent. Definitely one of our most memorable holidays in recent years, have fun .

Room Tip: We stayed at the rear of the hotel, apparently the front is a bit too noisy with the main road traffic.

Great hotel, staff pleasant, fantastic location everything within easy access. Beach 2mins, Port 2mins and a short walk into central Malaga. I would highly recommend. Don’t let this put you off but it’s a bit Noisy with traffic at the weekend so take ear plugs (they help). We have been several times

Hotel is on a nice location. Close to the port, the beach and the city.
Can easily walk to the city but can also easily get there by car. And is relatively close drive to the airport.
Room was clean, bathroom clean. Bed a bit too hard for me. Nothing outstanding. Just good.
