I'd gotten great recommendations both from friends and tripadvisor, so it was a bit disappointing that it wasn't as good as expected. The food was tasty (especially the cherry and basil gazpacho but the waitress was arrogant and unfriendly, which spoiled the experience a bit. No outdoor seating.

La Moraga is part of a small chain owned by a well renowned chef, and is adjacent to the beach in Malagueta offering views of the Med.

We popped in to grab lunch and sampled the Stewed Meat Croquettas, Mini Oxtail Burger and a couple of beers. This came to under £15. Food was of good quality, service was good although the restaurant was fairly empty at lunchtime. It's a shame they don't have any outside seating, this would have been lovely as the restaurant serves the nicest food we found on the beachfront (and less sandy than the delicious beach cooked sardines!).

Four of us were giving a table overlooking the sea, smart chic simple decoration and the menu degustation at 18.95 euros was simple stunning value and delicious. I had a wonderful thick cherry gazpacho with fresh cheese, anchovies and basil, croquettes of cuttlefish in black ink, mini burger of oxtail we were completely bowled over and with a bottle of Albariño and water total bill less than 100 euros. So longing to have another visit
