“Great tapa's and beautiful local wines in a great setting”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

Located on the beach close to the centre of Malaga this spacious restaurant is a must for people looking for a bit of class in Malaga. We dined as part of a large group, and were well taken care of with a wine reception on new rooftop terrace which will be a great place to relax when the summer returns.
We were then treated to a large variation of the restaurants signature tapa's, most of which met with approval from the entire group. Everybody left with full stomachs some a little wobbly from the delicious Malaga wines. The Highlight for me was the Rabo del Toro Burger and the Flamenquín ibérico con pimientos rojos. I will return, or try one of their sister restaurants

“No atmosphere”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

Great location and the interior is attractive, but the high prices mean the place has few locals in it, just tourists and it really lacks atmosophere.

“Now called ‘Manzanilla’ - it misses the mark”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

Since the summer his central Malaga ‘La Moraga’ tapas bar has been remodelled and rebranded as ‘Manzanilla’ after his flagship restaurant concept opening in New York City.
The Malaga bar looks similar to how it was as ‘La Moraga’, but more pared back, simpler. The team seem to have changed too; and more to the point the food has changed – and not really for the better.
The menu has retained a few Garcia classics such as the cod fritters and the calamari/squid ink fritters; his ‘milhoja de foie’ etc, but the new items on the menu were not very inspiring and not very well presented. There are of course some American inspired tapas, as a nod to his NYC project, but these were not appetising.
We kicked off with refreshing class of sparkling cava and then the house red, ‘Finca Antigua’ –a La Mancha red that was delicious and good value.

Other highs included the 'porra antequerana' and the russian salad with lobster.
But overall I was very much underwhelmed by Manzanilla.

“Molto buono”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

I have been at Lamoraga Antonio Martin beginning of October 2012. I really enjoyed the dinner, it was very good and at a reasonable price. I would definitely suggest it. I will for sure come back the next time I will be in Malaga.

“La Moraga Airport Malaga:FANTASTIC !!!”
Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

So happy: On the Airport:
FINE-FOOD, Finally, Fresh, Fair-priced!
The best ingredients, prepared with love at the moment you order: you can taste it.
Next to Burger King at Malaga Airport you get the chance to eat fine food(try the La Moraga Burgers..) for the same price as the fast food..what a difference!
Don't forget the nicest desserts I ever tryed: Aromas de Malaga and Tarte Chocolat: to die for!
Beautiful restaurant great food and very friendly staff.( Send a picture of them)
For great value.
Love it!!!! (.....&chef Pilar's eyes!)
