Not a great fan of Picasso but felt I should visit as I was in Malaga anyway. Unfortunately the exhibition didn't help me understand his work any better - didn't seem to be laid out in any order, no timeline or explanation of how and why his work looks like it does. Still not a convert I'm afraid. Clean toilets, small cafe and shop though.

This museum is located in adjacent palaces, all offering a great architecture. The interesting aspect for the average visitor is that it is not overloaded with paintings. In 40 minutes or so, you see well presented works of a in a pleasant environment. The works are not the most important ones but they are rather classical and easy to "understand".

What a strange man Picasso was! Loved most of the 'ordinary, understandable' stuff and admired his sentiments, liberally displayed around the exhibits. All well organised, though a bit like being a sheep! Security very hot, especially in the gift shop. Worth a visit.

Having seen countless Picasso museums around the world I obviously found this collection small and less important. It has mostly very early works before Picasso found his path - that said, there are 4-5 masterpieces there as well!! Worth the visit and do not please miss the great documentary film there about Picasso and his life - remarkably done.

You don't need to be an art expert to enjoy a stroll round the Picasso Museum. There are a surprising amount of pieces by Picasso on view as the building is deceptive in size. Well laid out and worthwhile to visit.
