Pretty little square where Picasso was born; his statue is on a seat in the far corner where you can take a picture next to him if you like. During Picasso's birthday week (October 25th) there is a pretty market held here with an old style theme. Not sure if this is every year, but some festivities celebrate the old master's birthday. The Picasso birthplace museum is only 2 euros to go in and worth a short visit with the free audio guide. It is a matter of opinion, but we preferred the birthplace museum as it told more about Picasso himself than the actual Picasso museum which moslty just held his art on themes rather than about him - and is a lot more expensive.
The distances in central Malaga are not very far and it is an easy few minutes stroll from the entrance to the Alcazaba to this little Square.
