Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Stayed in a room with balcony which was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff very pleasant. Food at breakfast good.
However I believe that there is something wrong with the dish washing machines in this hotel as the cutlery and crockery at times were disgusting. Plates were not clean and food sticking to back side if plates and bowls as well as on the surfaces. Cutlery was also dirty with food still sticking to the surfaces. I have seen this previously and it is normally when a dishwasher is over full and not working properly but it does need attention.

Room Tip: Balcony rooms give great views although only one seat.

The hotel is located near the center and a 15-20 minute walk from the beach. The room had no view and there was a weird smell. The water pump was ridiculously loud and the bathroom weird smell from the room continued into the bathroom.

Overall out stay was OK because it was one night but definitely wouldn't stay there longer.

We were staying here for a one night stay for an early flight but wanted to still be in the heart of Malaga. The room rate was pretty good.

Location is just on the other side of the road of what I would call "the action" so easy to walk around from the hotel. Our room was large (for Europe), jetted tub, shower gels, nice beds, TV, good wifi, good AC.

We were just coming off an over 2 week adventure of Europe and Africa so it was great to have a nice hotel to rest in before catching an early morning flight.

The hotel had a walk up call service as well as called a taxi to pick us up at 4 which was very helpful.

I would stay here again but would first look to be a little more in the action unless we were in the similar situation.

Close to the old part of town - museum, good bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. Fair arrangement of the parking of the car. Wifi worked well, fair breakfast, nice power on the water in the shower.

Some noise at Saturday night, it was no problem for me but might be one for the sensitive kinds - so then take a room high in the building

The good news is that the hotel is five minutes’ walk from most things you need to do or see in Málaga. The bad news is everything else. Perhaps our mistake for booking on a holiday weekend, we were given a cramped dark room with no opportunity to change as the hotel was fully booked. Wifi didn’t work, safe didn’t work, and a noisy water pump starting up every 15 minutes throughout the night underneath our window made sure I had a very poor night’s sleep. The buffet breakfast was a disgrace: unappetising and bland, and some of the worst coffee I have tasted: the dining room was awash with uncollected plates and half-eaten food. We had already paid for our single night’s stay, and no chance of a refund, but the receptionist listened to my complaint, and at least had the good grace to pay for our parking. We shall not return.

Room Tip: Do not go near room 207, or any other rooms facing that side of the hotel, at least until they sort...

3 Star Hotel:

As I needed to stay just one night in Malaga, city center, did not want to spend too much.
Found this hotel from Trivago. rate was really reasonable (Euro 63 with brfst with free Wi-Fi)

Quiet place, close to main street. Airport connection was fabulous. Train station only few minutes away , and direct link to Airport( make sure you get off on right station/I got off one station before, as that was a main station, but when I left next day, receptions showed me the right station). Everything was close, old town, shopping, restaurants., so location wise FAB.

A small reception and very friendly/Helpful staff. First room was very small (103/street side) but they changed it slight bigger room (104.). Wi-Fi very good, I would say one of the best I have experienced in the hotels for a while. Double bed, comfortable and pillows were reasonable as well. Even room was on street side, quiet room. Slept well. For two person a bit too tight room!
If you are travelling on business, very limited desk area, so, not the most ideal for business reasons (except if you use your laptop on bed, as I ended up to use mine).

Bathroom was ideal size,Bath with Jacuzzi (Pleas note: only for one person). Bathroom over all was very practical( even Bidet).Toiletries were good quality

TV stations: several, but only 2 English speaking station (BBC New/CNN). I really hope hotels in Spain would offer more English speaking stations/Room entertainment is becoming more important nowadays, as we have used it at home!Would I pay extra for this: Hmmmmm

Buffet Breakfast was reasonable. It had everything you need for reasonable brfst and cost was really reasonable. Worth to book room with brfst

Over all View: I would return here, when I need to stay a few nights in Malaga . Would try to get the bigger room, but other than that: A Nice, very clean hotel with excellent location and very helpful staff! Well done Eurostars Astoria

Ps Overall rating 3 rounds, purely because small room .Otherwise 4
