Seriously overpriced. Why would you charge 6 euros per person to visit a cathedral, when so many around the world are free, and absolutely wonderful inside?

For 10 euros including roof visit well worth it. An amazing structure. The free audio guide really helped get us immersed as we walked around the different chapels. The roof visit gave added sights of Malaga. Recommended

Hard to read that people are so offended to pay to enter a place of worship . I happily paid 10 € to go round and onto the roof terrace. What others haven’t noticed is that the church probably has few worshippers plus they are raising funds to complete unfinished exterior work . Furthermore the roof is in a poor condition and will cost a huge sum to fix . My pictures show what a stunning interior this cathedral has . I have visited the familia sagrada and St Peters in Rome and this cathedral is right up there with them in the breathtaking stakes . Loved it and just pay to see the delights within and keep it open for as long as possible.

The Malaga cathedral is one of the most beautiful cathedrals we've visited. The audio tour is free and well worth it. If you're in malaga take the time to visit.

This is just beautiful to see and walk through. Don't skimp and purchase the ticket to visit the rooftop too. It's only 10 Euros for general admittance which includes the Cathedral, the rooftop, and the Palace next door. As you walk through the Cathedral, you are provided a device to listen to explanations of what you are looking at inside the cathedral. It comes with many different languages that can be set at entrance. It will take some time to walk through if you want to stop by all 18 points of interest. The rooftop tour is on preset time and the attendant will let you know when the next one is available upon your purchase of the entrance. I happen to catch the last tour for the day at 5 PM on the day of my visit. There are about 90 steps on the first stop to the top and you can relax for about 10 minutes for some photos. Then an additional 110 steps or so to the very top that you won't regret making this climb. It is a panoramic view of the city of Malaga and it's breathtaking. I can't believe structures like these were built so many years ago and for us to be able to see appreciate its beauty today is mind blowing. I loved it all!

I thought after being at the Vatican and Notre Dame in Paris the Cathedral might be a letdown. It was not and I enjoyed it just as much if not more that the above mentioned two. I recommend a visit most highly.

Try to visit during a church mass; great to see how belief is still practiced Malaga. Loved the singing by a nun.

My partner suggested this visit and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
You are given a mobile devise to listen to at each area in your own language to give you the history. The architecture and structures inside are incredible
