“Short time, great memories!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Unfortunately I only stayed one night, but everything was so clean and nice. The staff was very kind and friendly and is modern and comfortable!!

the only thing that I didn't like was a guy who was yelling at my door at 4 am and didnt sleep so well.

Very friendly staff, emphasis on parties but quiet rooms for sleeping. No hot water in mornings, but extra bathrooms in the lobby. Planned group activities and two bars--this is a great place to meet people! Free computer access and wifi was easy and well-functioning. Rooms are also inexpensive! 8 euro for big dorm and 13 euro for 6-bed dorm. Atmosphere was distinct and not really my type of place, but my experience was very good.

The Oasis Hostel in Malaga is so modern, spacious, safe and clean! The receptionists are there 24 hours, speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. They have free breakfast and free walking tours with other activities that are pretty cheap going on pretty much everyday of the week. I felt so safe because we had to swipe our room card to enter the hostel, enter the hallway our room was located on, and to open our door. We could also bolt the door to lock it at night. Overall, I was shocked at how nice it was and it's in a GREAT location! Would definitely stay there again.

Let me tell immediately: this is a party hostel, so not really my kind of place.
Never the less, he's very modern, clean and well located, and not too noisy at night for this kind of hostel.
The staff is uber-friendly and everything went smooth!
I recommend the free walking tour and to check out the many initiatives.

Good location, really nice clean rooms with lots of things to do to meet people. The bar on the roof is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit! Miriam´s pub crawl was really fun and a good way to see some parts of the city.

Clean beds, clean rooms, 24hr service from friendly staff with great recommendations for food, drink and parties. Great time overall!! My first time in a hostel and the friend I travelled with said that it's given me unrealistic expectations of what hostels are like as it is really great value for money!

We came during the carnival for a stag do. The information on the website was very helpful for finding the hostel (check first, because its not easy), and there were some great tips for things to do and places to eat. The location is absolutely central for the old town, bars, tapas and clubs, but because it was down an alleyway there was no street noise (although some noise from the hostel itself, of course).

When we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, and there were great activities such as pub crawls, walking tours and shared dinners that would have been welcome, but since we were on a stag do we didn't use them. When I turned up at five in the morning without my key card I was let into my room without any drama. Free wi-fi was welcome to avoid data charges and reached as far as our room on the top floor.

The room (room 8) was clean and well laid out. There was a small balcony, and clean bathroom. The beds were a little uncomfortable (too hard) and difficult to get into the top bunk, but not too bad. Linen included.

The rooftop bar served a good selection of drinks at good prices, and was where we usually started our nights out.

Malaga is a good gateway destination. Its an attractive city with a nice old town, harbour, beach, and two charming moorish castles. Carnival is fun, but not amazing, and even on the last night of the carnival was not on a par with other spanish festivals.

Room Tip: Don't choose the rooms on the ground floor next to kitchens. Breakfast is served right outside.
