Good location on edge of Old Town. I went in early March with daytime temperatures of 16C+ but hotel heating was on with no option to reduce room temperature - air con does not work when heating is on.

Nice, clean and modern hotel very close to the city center. Nice location and excellent breakfast. I was there in business so I am not aware how close the hotel was to turistic atractions but for business was great and close to the center and restaurants

from the moment you enter first contact with front desk opens the door of something that you will not find in other 4 even 5 star hotels elsewhere in spain.... you are hotel guest but actually staff welcomes you as if hotel is their house means you are their guest in their house...friendly smiley faces will accommodate you to the fullest extent of your own preconceived idea of how you should be treated considering that you are spending money there...same goes for the restaurant you name it they have it or will do it, "anything else"...jamon is not red to your liking let me tell a chef to cut some fresh batch for you....looking forward to coming back maybe in December until then once all of you get there SALUDA Trini Izaskun, Santi Francis, Jorge, Fernando, Alexandro......

Room Tip: sun is very strong in the morning....if visiting in summer I would recommend rooms on the west side...

Hotel in great location not too far from train station and even closer to historic Malaga. - very convenient! Large hotel but staff make u feel welcome and are helpful. Rooms very comfortable. Prices are reasonable particularly if booked in advance.

We stayed two nights in February 2014 in a basic room. All hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the reception staff. Room was comfortable and very clean. Had to ask for extra towels, but that was immediately actioned. Good location near the Old Town, a short walk to shops, restaurants, etc. Malaga is a surprisingly good choice for a weekend city break. Usually overshadowed by her more famous cousins like Granada, Seville, Barcelona, Madrid. However the weather is great, prices are low, loads of flights and the Picasso museum, old fort, cathedral and the old town. Try it!

Room Tip: Rooms over looking the dry river bed have lights shining into them. This does not apply to the back...

Excellent hotel in a wonderful location - we spent a long weekend in Malaga attending a major sport event in the evenings and we used the morning to explore the city centre. The NH provides a wonderful base to do so. The rooms were spacious and warm, the staff is quite friendly and the only "but" is the quality of wify, which was pretty slow.

I will definitely return to the NH the next time I go to Malaga and I 100% recommended to whoever visit Malaga and want to stay in a nice, functional, comfy place.

Outside the touristic concentration, but still within walking distance to all the most important sights.
This hotel used to be modern couple of decades a go and now it has very Spanish label - in a positive way. Immaculate service and airy premises gives most enjoyable atmosphere.
Our suite had large opening windows on two sides along the "river" and there was a great light as well.
The breakfast seems first to be overwhelming but for a healthy one it is quite succinct for instance considering vegetables.
