A wonderful building and a lovely collection of Andalusian paintings. Highly recommended. The Courbet Van Gogh Monet leger is very captivating. Little known works. A great selection.

Well worth visiting. Rooms are on several floors with disabled access. The paintings are well set out and cameras without flash can be used. after a look round don't forget to visit the cafe which has a lovely small outdoor area,! You can visit the cafe and shop without paying the entrance fee but we were very pleasantly surprised at how good value for money the gallery is. And the shop has some excellent unusual present ideas too.

Beautiful 19th century art from a variety of very talented Spanish artists. Also viewed the temporary exhibition, which was equally enjoyable. Excellent value for money.

Mostly art from the 19th and 20th centuries, with a refreshing lack of religious daubings (other than the "Old Masters" room, which was full of pictures of flying babies, "virgins" and fairies). Good value, and a nice place to spend a couple of hours.

Yesterday my wife and I saw the current exhibition called Courbet, Van Gogh, Monet, Leger. The exhibition showed landscape paintings by famous artists from the late 19th century and 20th century. We enjoyed seeing this show very much.

The painting we liked the most was called Idyllic Landscape, painted by Olga Sacharoff. Other paintings by Monet, Alfred Sisley, Pierre Bonnard, Joaquim Sunyer and Celso Lagar were also very good.

The Carmen Thyssen Museum is quite progressive and allows non-flash photography. I enjoy taking photos of museum art so that I can remember what I saw and keep enjoying that art.
