We bought a 2 day ticket and it included lots of admissions: a Harbor cruise, which was very pleasant (about 50 minutes long), admission to several museums...Picasso, Thyssen, the pompidou, a flamingo show and several other things. All in all, a pretty good deal.
My biggest complaint is that they need more buses, as it appears they may only have one, 2 at the most, but I doubt that. 1st day we rode the bus without getting off and it was pretty good. 2nd day was another story. We went to get the bus and was told the bus wasn’t stopping here because of a demonstration coming down the street. So we walked to the location that we wanted to go to, which was approximately 4 stops away, so a fairly good hike.
At the end of the day, we waited at least 45 minutes at stop 6 with another couple. It was in the sun and very hot and no where to sit or to get out of the sun. We finally walked two stops prior to stop 6 and caught the bus...it would have been at least a one hour wait. The bus driver said that is the way it is in the afternoon. Not a great answer when you are hot and tired. ‘
So it is not the best hop on hop off that we have taken, and honestly, you can just about walk everywhere the bus goes, with the exception of one stop.
