True real gypsy flamenco, not to be missed. My friends and I attended this show on 5th June 2013 and were mesmerised by the dedication and passion of the performers. This is not a commercialised flamenco show, but it is the real deal. I have never seen such energy come from performers as I witnessed here and the dancing/singing/guitar are fantastically loud. This was the first night they performed on their new stage in the new larger room (holds approx 100 people) so there were a few giggles as they adapted to the new surrounding, especially when the door hinged squeaked (this was remedied by it being locked while performing). It is a very intimate show as you are close to the stage/performers. The night we attended there were 3 performers Juan on guitar, his beautiful wife singing and dancing and Juanma also singing and dancing. I cannot tell you how helpful Juan (Shane) the guitarist was, many thanks again Juan. I booked tickets through Flamencotickets.com for 6th June only to find out on the 5th from Juan as we walked by there was no show that night, this was after I emailed them twice to confirm booking as it was my friends 50th birthday so book direct with Kelipe and do not use Flamecotickets.com. Juan was horrified and invited us to join a private show that night, gave us a table next to the stage with free tapas and my friend had a tune dedicated to her (wonderful as she was moved to tears) 10 /10 for customer service. Thank you for the most wonderful experience of an insight into your life Kelipe. We will return again next time we are in Malaga.

The Bad: Show started about 30 minutes late, they only take cash payments (if you're a student take your card as there's a discount), the timing information on their website wasn't up-to-date when we went so we arrived an hour before the doors opened (and even still the show started late). The wine is terrible! Go for the sherry instead.

The Good: These performers are authentic Flamenco dancers/singers/musicians. This is a no frills kind of show; all the beautiful Flamenco dresses you see in shops in Malaga are for the more touristy and typical dancers. The Kelipe group on the other hand identify themselves as hailing from the gypsy community. Their performance is stripped down and more about the music than the dancing so if you're looking for something more visual and glamorous then this is probably not the Flamenco show for you. If you want something more authentic and extremely passionate then this is the show for you!

Love, love, loved this show! Shane and his team are so passionate about providing an authentic view into their lifestyle and the art of Flamenco that you can't help but feel the joy. The theater only seats about 40 so you are right in the heart of the action and when the main singer belts out his first notes, goosebumps pop on your arms. When in Malaga - see this show. Ask for a table on the left side if you are facing the stage (stage right?) so you can see the fast fingers on the guitar (he is right handed so he turns his body to that side when playing). If you hang out after the show all of the performers are in the lobby and you can meet them and take pictures.

We decided to take a tapas and flamenco tour with welovemalaga.com Our surprise was that after reading so many good reviews about this show we ended up here. Excellent and pure show, from the beginning to the end, very recommended

Having been to all of the flamenco shows from Malaga to Fuengirola this is definately the best.I was impressed with the out and out passion of the group! The dancer is a powerhouse of a dancer, and one of the most impressive I seen!
