“Charming garden somewhat mitigated by motorway proximity”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

Worth a visit as long as you are okay with some hillside walking and accept that the city's motorways hug the gardens.

“Beautiful Exhibition”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 27, 2012

We went to the gardens to see an exhibition of the history of the gardens, created by the artist Alberto Martin. He had about 220 Barbie dolls dressed up in dresses of the 19th century and explaining the history of the gardens. This exhibition was very unique in that this was a way to make the history interesting, especially for children.

“Disappointing in November”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

We caught the 10 Euro taxi out here, and wished we had not bothered. There was an air of neglect about the place, and very few flowers to be seen. Compared to the Alcazaba and Paseo del Parque in Malaga, it was a big disappointment.

“This should be seen in Spring or Summer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

We viewed this garden in mid October and most of the blooms had gone. It was very lovely though and the restaurant on-site was fabulous - everything is made from scratch and deliciously fresh - great prices too.

“Tranquility close to the city”

Nice gardens with great selection of trees and shrubs. Interesting history and a nice way to spend a couple of hours strolling around.
