The restaurant has plenty of light and is quiet. The menu of the day is very, very good. The food is presented very well and is excellent. Service is very good too. I like to bring guests here because the food is very good and we can talk, unlike other restaurants that are very noisy. I go to this restaurant frequently. Very good value for the money.

The menu of the day is served from Monday to Friday.

I normally avoid the hotels restaurants but this is a pleasant exception. I went there with 2 italian chefs friends of mine and we all had a fantastic dinner. Far from the spanish old traditional cousine, dishes are a bit creative, well presented, not fried and heavy to digest. Fish is really well prepared! I really suggest it. Location, more than all the internal patio, is really nice.

Buen sitio! Exquisita la lubina y el rabo de toro al vino tinto. El patio interior es ideal para cenar en esta epoca.

We were staying at Hotel Molina Lario for a week and the hotel met our expectations. We also had high hopes for the visit to the restaurant because it looked modern and we had visited the bar already on a few evenings and also had had desserts in the cafe/bar area on couple of evenings. We decided to visit the restaurant and because it seemed empty evening after evening we thought that reservation wasn't necessary. How ever on the first evening the waiter told that we had no chance on getting a table for the same evening and the same happened also on the following evening and we again went to another restaurant and came back 1,5 hrs later and the restaurant was empty! This was really suspicious but we still decided to go and ask a table for the next day, because the restaurant had Michelin recommendation.. We'll on the following evening we finally got in and were surprised that there were only 2 other tables booked. The waiter was quite young and served our table because apparently the head waiter didn't speak any English. The dinner started out well, we got lists and recommendations on the drinks and ordeded our appetitzers and main courses and wine and also couple of drinks for an aperitif. We'll first came the aperitifs, followed by starters and then came the wines.. Starters were good but then it started happening at the restaurant!

I was following a sushi chef preparing makis on the other end at the restaurant and we thought that the sushis would be taken to this "patio" which was connected to the restaurant because there was being held some sort of photo gallery.. but no.. Then there appeared a woman on a kimono and I was astonished that she came next to our table and started to undress and started glueing fake leaves on her breast and "down there" and preparing to be a "sushi-table". At this point we called the waiter to our table and asked what was happening as also the other 2 tables were really upset about what they saw. Explanation was that they were having a sushi-night for the first time that evening, but no-one said anything to us and even offered us that we could order sushi!!! Not that I would have been interested in ordering it on top of a naked woman!!! My husband had offered beef tartar for main course and it was prepared on a table right next to this naked woman.

We had our main courses which were a dissappointment and also the festive feeling of the evening was gone when we had to look at the naked lady the evening. After short argument with the waiter (the head waiter didn't even bother to come to our table) who was very apologetic the brought a screen in front of our table but there was still an open view from the other tables to this woman. We'll we had our main courses and ended our dinner there. As a compensation we got 2 free aperitifs, nothing else. The young waiter obviously didn't have permission to give anything more and the head waiter treated us as "trouble"

I guess our visit would have been more pleasant on another date, the best part was the appetizers and the desserts we had already tried on the bar/cafe. Main courses were quite plain, nothing special. I wonder how they have got the Michelin lable on their door..?
