The Hotel is situated on a nice hill in Malaga with a great landscape on the city. The Hotel is quite nice, the rooms are big and well cleaned, but if you want to go in the city centre you need a car or a taxi.

This was an incredible find-great value for the standard of accommodation. The views were breath-taking (a steep walk, but worth it). The staff were really friendly & helpful. The gardens were beautiful. Don't stay in the turret of room 8-we were kept up all night with machinery from the kitchen! We moved to another room, which was perfect! Will be visiting again hopefully.

This was a really cool and pretty hotel/ castillo. Great location, not in heart of the city but outside of the city in a great, safe neighborhood and very quiet. Had to drive to downtown, but plenty of parking in the public parking lots. A lot of fun to walk around this very safe and pretty city. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was really nice and large. The grounds are absolutely amazing and very well maintained. Great views of the Meditteranean and the surrounding city!!!!

Room Tip: Very pretty location

We were staying in Santa Catalina as a "hopping point" back to the airport, returning from Granada, and it served brilliantly for that - but was way better than that! This is a superb, dramatic hotel with excellent gardens, in a lovely setting away from the main crowds; the staff could not have been more helpful - excellent service! The hotel oozes cool and calm relaxation, the room(no. 4) was very spacious, comfortable, and set out onto "it's own" veranda, with views across to the harbour - it was just lovely. If ever we are "passing through" again, we will not look for anywhere else.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a former castle overlooking Malaga and Malaga bay with fantastic gardens surrounding the hotel. We stayed in room 7 which is on the top floor and had a huge private terrace.

Please be aware that the Hotel is not in the city center and walking there will take you about 30min, so you may wish to come by car or talk a taxi (5 Euro into town).

We had a perfect stay and would definitely come back.

Absolutely stunning ! We have stayed in Malaga before but this is by far the best . We always travel around Spain by train so I was concerned we would be too far out but no problems. My partner is 75 and he found the walk into town no problem. We walked downhill and got a taxi back usually 6-8 euros
Would highly recommend this hotel .

This place is literally a small castle, apparently still in the same family for centuries. It is clearly managed with love and pride and it shows. Despite being such a unique and regal place it has a very comfy feeling and you are made to feel like you are visiting old friends. Service was excellent. Rooms are beyond reroach, all have original tile work in the bathrooms and you can tell it has been preserved in the original state as much as possible with renos only when necessary. It is hard to get there but if you drive or take a cab you will be glad you chose it. The views from the patio are amazing. Beds are comfortable and due to the fact that it was built as a castle very spacious rooms with a lot of privacy.

We arrived early in the morning and well before check in time and they tried to accomodate us as soon as possible, made us coffee and set us up in a spacious reading room area while we waited for our room. When we got the room it was spotless and had a fresh lemon scent. Had all the toiletries you could want and water bottles, tea in the room, slippers, robes the works.

Stay here, you will love it as we did and you will not want to leave!
