“We love the place BUT....”

This is the second time we get to this wonderful site.
Like every time we gave a very nice and we fit even a large apartment than what we ordered.
The atmosphere is wonderful and very friendly people.
Stay in the pool area was very pleasant.
Local food is absolutely wonderful restaurant.
And the atmosphere in the evening was a joy.
Two things that really annoyed us are:
1. Decision to charge for Internet connection. When we were told in advance that no cost. Referral from the Web page that comes inside the guest to contact the office. I mean only when you can purchase time activity.
Today everywhere is a free web hotel that is a staple for every traveler. And offers site administrators to reconsider charging money.
2. Another thing that is new is the collection of half a euro for a chaise longue by the pool and that half day.

I stayed here for two nights and had a very nice, but small apartment. The bed was a murphy bed that stored in the wall. The apt was clean and neatly furnished. The staff was friendly and English speaking. The pool and on site cafe were nice. Right on the beach which is clothing optional as are the grounds. Your only choice on Costa del Sol for a naturist experience, but you do pay more for that priviledge.

Thank you for taking the time to review Costa Natura.

Since your visit, the website and reservations management have changed. It is now possible to book apartments and studios individually. This gives the guest the choice to choose from more basic to luxury level properties to better suit their budget and taste.

We do hope you can return and visit Costa Natura again.

Stayed for three nights April 9th to 12th. It was a nice place. My apartment (single) was slightly outdated but that could have just been that room because every apartment is owned but someone different.

The grounds were beautiful and well kept. In fact, they were actually in the middle of doing some maintenance when I was there. It looked like they had just re-painted the entire resort.

The beach was OK... definitely not the Caribbean but typical for that area (rocky). I didn't go for a swim in the pool but it looked nice. The staff was very helpful; and the location wasn't too bad either. It's a long walk into Estepona but I did it everyday. There are two grocery store's right across the street which was convenient.

All in all, I'd stay again.

First time visit here, but certainly will return. The complex has been recently re painted and refurbished and looks spic and span now. The gardens are very carefully maintained and always seemed to have that `cared for` look about them.

The apartments are all privately owned and the quality therefore varies. The reception always has a selection to rent, but at a very expensive price...beware..there are better deals to be had here. The swimming pool is now solar heated and kept at a very warm temperature, no freezing before you get in!!!!

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We used both Manolos restaurant/bar as well as Renato`s on the site. The latter being the more friendly and probably better value for money...Dont ask Manolo for any extras not on the menu or if you do get an estimate first!!!!! (10e for a small plate of cheese...rip off merchant)

There arnt many facilities as such, other than a laundry and table tennis table but off site there is a new Mercadona supermarket just down the road with a new Aldi currently being built right opposite the front door as well as a taxi rank between Natura and the new Spa Hotel next door.

Be warned however if you need a cash machine the nearest is in the port area at Estepona and although there is a bus stop outside the place the timetable is erratic and manana to say the least..

The beach just below the complex is a bit on the small side but adequate outside of peak holiday season with all the amenities you would expect including Renatos beach bar ..

We will certainly return, the many nationalities there are friendly and welcoming and we certainly had a relaxing holiday. What more can you say

Spent a wonderful few days in the CostaNatura in early Nov. We had visited many years before and saw many changes. No supermarket on site, now there is a large supermarket across the road. Restaurant is staffed by a wonderful chef Manolo, and we found the sevice extremely good. The ground are still very well maintained with manicured lawns, colourful plants and shrubs in abundance. The reception has very limited opening hours, however Francoise arranged all our requirements by email before our arrival. My only criticisms were; the overall cost and some building work was taking place in the resort. We shall return again.

"Too old fashioned" place for alderly guests where time stopped in late 60's together with any renovation projects or attractions for new customers. At this part of Spain the sea is too cold (ab 19-20 degrees) for nice leisure when accomodation or mood gives you little satisfaction. Although service staff is very polite neither apartments nor garden nor facilities convience you to stay longer until you decide to move and explore more beatutifull views of Andalusia.

As the new management of the reservations and bookings at Costa Natura, I am just taking time to answer some of the reviews that were left prior to our taking over so as to give a better impression of how Costa Natura is now (in 2015!).

There are now three new cheerful members of staff on the reception who can attend to people's needs. Also, the restaurant staff have changed.

There is now a new modernised reception area and the bar/restaurant has been overhauled. Both are now far more 2016 than 1980!

The pool has solar heating installed and a new cover keeps it insulated in the evenings or on inclement days.

Renovation throughout the resort has taken place and it is really is looking so much better than it has done in years.

Please do read the more recent reviews (from 2013) which I really think will give you a better impression of how things have changed.

Better still.... come back a visit us again and try for yourself :)
