This restaurant may not look like much from the outside but once you enter their doors , you are met by the charming owner and his son and from there the experience just gets better. The hosts can speak english , the waiters/waitresses are friendly and full of fun which leads to a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious. I had mushroom ravioli topped with cheese from Ronda...divine. Friends had shoulder of lamb for main which literally fell off the bone and we had the sea bass baked in salt which was just so yummy. Desserts , the sorbet was awesome and the vanilla ice cream covered in choc sauce was so good. A great selection of wines too. Really a treat out!

It is a very good restaurant, but it is hard to find in the outskirts of Estepona. However, it is well worth the trip

La Menorah has been open for many years and we have been visiting on and off since the start. The 2 owners are delightful and know Spain and her food and buy the best, freshest produce for their food.It is not the cheapest restaurant in the area, but the quality is second to none.Chef Paco cooks like a dream. Why not ask Jose Luis..the owner to serve you some of his own suggestions that are not on the menu. He does that for us sometimes if we can't decide and we get beautiful plates of food...aubergine fried with honey, boquerones stuffed with spinach...I could go on. Good food, good wine & attractive interior...who can ask for more?

Given it's Michelin ranking & trip adviser mention we booked although the location opposite the Elba Hotel facing the busy dual carriageway was not at first enticing. On arrival we were so wrong to pre-judge this utterly fantastic restaurant in cuisine terms so much better than some of the highly rated London establishments. These two charming guys have been running this place for 27 years, they also have another restaurant and hotel in the mountains. The front of house is amazing with superb advice on food and wine but with no hint of condescension we chose scallops in a beautiful cream sauce to start and the fresh sea bass pescado a la salt for mains with a lovely bottle of Libalis Blanco.Beautifully cooked served and in an enchanting dining room. This was the culinary experience of our Spanish trip and the bill was modest.
