Very attractive hotel, but room had a putrid smell that made us uncomfortable. Beds ok. Could be a 4 star hotel but needs more polishing.

Hotel is situated right on the beach La Victoria, great for the holiday maker. We had a spacious room with a big balcony to the seaside on the fifth floor. Nice firm beds.
The staff was attentive and friendly.Especially the cleaning lady did all she could to make us feel welcome.
There is a small pool which was great during the windy days that you did not want to swim in the ocean.
Only complaint is the bad wifi connection (18 euros/ 3 days). Not worth the price we paid

This hotel is fine but mostly for the location right off the boardwalk on the beach. It's nothing fancy but not run down either. For those who love to try local fare, there are several good restaurants (i.e. La Marea) on the boardwalk. For those who are scared of that sort of thing, the McDonalds is right across the plaza.

Stayed for two nights. This hotel is right on the beach. We had a room with a terrace overlooking the sea and the view was terrific. However the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. The bedroom is small, the terrace is large but has only two cheap white plastic chairs and a table so is not very comfortable to laze around on. The bedroom was very hot, reception staff informed us that the air conditioning was turned off and was not available!! for 150 euros a night I don't think it's too much to expect air conditioning!! No free internet service at all in the hotel, paid service is patchy, had to go to reception area to access. Breakfast choice was mainly processed food, canned fruit, juices not fresh although on the second day I noticed a sign which said fresh orange juice was available on request!! Feels like a hotel which is running on a tight budget and trying to scrimp and save at every turn.

Room Tip: The view from the rooms facing the sea is really good.

We only stayed one night but we got good service at the front desk and while the hotel is not new the room conditions were very acceptable and clean. Based on this experience I probably would stay there again. Plus, being a beachfront hotel makes it very appealing.

If you are looking for a hotel on the beach, this is definitely a good choice. We loved the location, rooms were nice, dinner was good too. The service, however, was sloppy and very unfriendly. The waiters almost threw the plates on the tables, and they seemed to work against each other instead of helping each other out.

The Playa Victoria is ideally situated right on the wide sandy beach. It wasn't busy when we checked in and we were given a third-floor room facing the sea. Room with double door arrangement for quietness, large balcony with table and chairs, good bedroom and bathroom. The rather odd wooden floor covering which does not cover the whole floor seems a bit pointless and creaks when you want to tiptoe around, but this is a small point. Room was clean, comfortable and with superb views over the beach and sea. Breakfast buffet was very good, staff friendly and helpful (in Spanish, I don't know about English).
Plenty of parking in the garage although it isn't cheap.
Easy to get into the old city on the bus, routes 1 and 7 with stops very near the hotel take about ten minutes, only one Euro, and run until 1 o'clock in the morning. For a choice of restaurants go about 100 metres towards the city on the sea front (most open at 8pm)

Room Tip: Worth getting the full sea view
