“Charming city...”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Visited Cadiz in January of this year and the weather was not at its best. However, the town made up for it and we enjoyed a site seeing bus tour. The Cathedral was a little disappointing, though is very attractive from the outside and well positioned in the centre of the town. They do have loose masonery inside and there is some netting visible. The shopping is very good and there are lots of little streets, cafes and squares all based along the shore line and the bus trip allows you to get on and off as you wish - it would be excellent in the sunshine!! Very clean and well presented and a lovely town to walk and explore, especially the old walls. We visited whilst on a cruise and it was defintely one of the best port stops.

“walked explored took ferry across Bay”
Reviewed February 2, 2014

fascinating city, magnificent buildings, interesting labyrinth of narrow streets that throb at night. Lovely sea promenade. Roman site being explored very interesting. Remnants of town wall amazing. So many buildings, castles, museums and places of interest to visit. Hope to return to do more.

“Cadiz general”
Reviewed January 7, 2014

Small coastal town with interesting location on small peninsula. Smell of Atlantic ocean and mild sea breeze provide conditions for city tour. Short and narrow streets and cafes in them, cathedral on central square, sandy beach with boats....these are the images of Cadiz. Join Cadiz with Jerez and make a unique one day trip if you're in Andalusia.

“Totally not worth 17 euros”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

After walking around Cadiz for 2 hours, I thought I'd do this hop on hop off bus tour to see what I'd missed out on. As it turns out, I'd not missed out on anything. The commentary was average as was the view from the bus with many parts of Cadiz appearing run-down. Not worth 17 euros. Did have a fantastic lunch though at Las Flores Freideria/Marisqueria at Plaza de las Flores which I highly recommend.

“Castillo de Santa Catalina”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

The Castillo is an old fortress which looks closed and run down , but that is far from the truth . It does open on a daily basis , please check the opening times , and there is no charge . The fortress looks as if it has not changed for the last two hundred years , but is in excellent condition with great views across the city , and out to sea . There is also an excellent art gallery currently showing amazing oil paintings of most major European cities . Don't miss the chance to see this attraction .
