Having taken a bit of time to travel Europe a few years ago, staying in hostels, i could see why people would love this place. The staff were extremely friendly and great activities were put on so that you could meet lots of people and drink alcohol to your hearts content till whatever time you feel like in the morning. Basically paradise for the young traveller!
Unfortunately i booked this hostel for my girlfriend and myself who were not really looking for big nights out, just a nice trip to Cadiz to experience a bit of the culture. This was not the place i would have picked to stay in hindsight. The bathrooms were pretty rank to be honest and always flooded, that is if you could get to them as there were just far too many people for the number of bathrooms. The bedroom (we had a private double) was a complete sweat pit with no air con, not very clean and broken locks. It wasn't a great size either.
All in all thankfully i spend as little time in a hotel as possible so this place served its purpose, but do not stay here if you're looking for any sort of luxuries because you wont find any. August is an extremely expensive time to visit Cadiz but would be worth shelling out extra to stay in a hotel. If you are travelling with a group of friends and want a crazy alcohol fuelled time with no luxuries, this is the place for you!!

This is a wonderful place, where you can really enjoy your holiday! You can meet people from all over the world and so it's a good chance to have new friends too!!
I liked the bedrooms and I found all things comfortable and well organised!
It's perfect for young people who want to travel in an easy but healthy way :)

We booked this hostel from Seville Inn backpackers, having had very positive experiences there, and especially in their Granada Inn (highly recommended!)
Unfortunately it failed to live up to our experiences in those locations. Firstly, due to high demand we were housed in an overflow apartment, really used to house the staff of the hostel. We weren't made to feel particularly welcome there. The lack of air conditioning was a real problem, both in this apartment and in the hostel. Everything was chaotic, the breakfast room overcrowded - and one member of staff in particular incredibly unhelpful.

If screaming, door slamming and heavy jumping up and down in the stairs with a little help of alcohol and healthy hormonal excretion until five o'clock in the morning is your favorite saturday night's entertainment you are in the right place. As a bonus the practically non existent sound isolation in the house will laudably contribute this unforgettable auditory experience.

But if you do not tolerate non-AC rooms, slimy shared toilets and showers, common overcrowded kitchen-breakfast room combinations and odd regulations put under your nose at the reception on arrival -- simply keep out.

In case you anyway shall board there here are couple of empiric no-nos:
1. Don't discuss in normal voice with your children at 8.30 a.m. in your room. The angry staff is going to interrupt it because the other guests are sleeping.
2. Don't forget your hat in the kitchen-breakfast room overnight. In the morning it will be disappeared.

The hostel is located in the center of the beautiful and fun city of Cadiz.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, will assist you to find the best places to go to in the city!
The hostel offers a lot of activities like pubcrawl, beach activities, free walking tour and more (by hostel staff and not outside guides).

Cadiz inn is a nice place to stay. Clean, well situated, well organized and staff is helpful.

the hostel is aiming for good reviews, however it is to keep in mind that this hostel would need more toilets and bigger common spaces for the number of people visiting to get great reviews.

Nice guided tour and pub crawl ( do not take the pub crawl on early week nights, not many people!)
The only thing we didnt like was the lack of bathrooms and space in fridge!

We sleep there for 2 nights and we were a bit desappointed. In the inside, the hostal look more like a kindergarten then a hostel. There is not enough toilets for all the person and the commun-kitchen area is too small to welcome more than 3 persons (cooking) at the same time.
The good points are the nice terrasse on the roof, the washing machine, the free walking tour of the city and the employees.
I saw a lot of hostel in spain so far and this one was too expensive for the quality.
