The home has been recreated to represent an old spanish home, It is very well done, with a good amount of information and artifacts. I enjoyed it.

I loved stepping back in time and experiencing life before electricity and running water. Everything was well marked and the cultural explanations made my entire trip more interesting. I wish we had gone here first to understand the importance of the courtyard to local architecture and the purposes of each one to a home/family.

Set your location to Casa de las Cabezas and enjoy a wander around the atmospheric streets finally ending up at this little gem of what I would call a "living museum". No wax models or sound effects, apart from the gentle sound of water in the patio, but a beautifully restored house reflecting medieval Cordoba. Apart from the glories of the Mezquita, this was one of the highlights of our 2 day exploration of Cordoba. You won't regret visiting it.

We found this well preserved residence by accident in our search for the Archaeological Museum. It is a well preserved home from centuries past where one can see how people lived. Well worth the 5 Euros.

There are lots of small, fascinating "museums" to visit in Cordoba, mostly very cheap. This is one of the very best. Simple, informative, attractively presented.

This is definitely not something that if you miss it you'll be devastated but if you can spare 5 euros then you'll have the chance to see a beautiful house and get a taste of how people lived in old Cordoba. So yes, don't miss it, it's never crowded and these people did a great job restoring the house.

I really enjoy this spot. My wife and I visited in 2016 and I took my nephew in 2018. It is well worth the effort to locate the spot near the patios area. The restoration of a wealthy household from the Moorish period and the explanations provided put a bit of human scale on the monuments like the Mezquita. You can treat yourself after to a bit of wondering and exploring of the nearby patios. The house also offer a bit of relief from the summer sun.

Recommended by the Parador in Cordoba, this Casa is one of several 'patios' that define Cordoba. Restored to its former glory with good interpretation boards (in English). The design of the Casa maximises the little shade available at midday to create a cool place to explore. Reasonably priced with a visit lasting approx. one hour

An unexpected encounter! This small museum inside a ‘patio’ home in Cadiz has a startling and tragic story attached to it. It is well reconstructed and well worth a visit.

This was a quick visit, because it was opposite our hotel, but it was an interesting house to see. It has been recently restored, and the photos pre-restoration are fascinating to see how much work has been done. There is lots to see, I'm surprised it's not better known.
