“Perfect accommodation”

This is one of the best boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, including the bathroom. The breakfast is ordered from a menu with lots of options and the quality is excellent. The staff is friendly, helpful, and available. And the location could not be better in relation to the historic district. My wife and I would definitely like to stay here again.

One might not expect a hotel named after a popular style of steak (well, really the hotel takes its name from the popular restaurant next door) to be a beautiful, cozy, stylish haven right in the heart of one of Spain's greatest cities. But don't let the name fool you. Hospedería de El Churrasco is a wonderful place to stay in Córdoba, and I would be surprised if there are a lot of better choices in this category and price range. Located on a very atmospheric street just a few minutes walk from the Mezquita and all of the other important sites in the city, it offers very comfortable, well appointed and very fairly priced rooms. Indeed, we paid a total of 150 Euros for two beautiful rooms on the 2nd floor, one of which had a great view of the street below. Though we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel - there's just too much to see in Córdoba – we were very impressed with the common spaces, especially the small lounge, and the interior patio where breakfast is served each day.

Speaking of breakfast . . . the morning meal, which was included in the room price, is a real delight. It includes a huge variety of fresh breads and fruits, fresh squeezed orange juice, paté, jams, pastries, coffee, tea, etc.

The hotel staff were outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and professional.

Driving to the hotel is a bit complicated, but we got there with no problem with a GPS. The parking charge was very reasonable (I think 10 Euros per night, but it may have been a bit more), and it was nice to be able to leave the car at the hotel entrance and let one of the staff members park it for you. Getting out of town in the car was much easier than getting in.

Room Tip: If you drive. Study the route carefully before you enter the historic center of Córdoba. it's...

This hotel is everything you could want in a small boutique hotel, but without being pretentious. Incredibly nice staff, perfect location, breakfast included. We stayed in room 241 - really cute, with a balcony where we sat outside and read the paper. The hotel has shared common areas that are welcoming places to sit and read, write an email, put your feet up. We were in Spain for two weeks and stayed in a variety of hotels - this little hotel was the best value for our money without sacrificing any of the things you expect - it was clean, safe, and very comfortable. Two - three nights is a perfect trip to Cordoba and this hotel made it one of our favorite stops.

Room Tip: Room 241 is the room in the picture.

We spent only 1 night at this lovely hotel and wished it could have been longer! The rooms were excellent, the staff friendly and helpful and the location superb - I can highly recommend this hotel. One caveat - due to the location it is probably better to take a taxi (very short ride from the train station) as driving through the very narrow and crowded streets could be a bit daunting.

We're glad we took a taxi from the train station to the hotel - easy, quick and reasonable, about 7 Euros. The hotel is clean, comfortable and ideally located in the Jewish Quarter, just a 5 minute walk to the Mezquita or 10-12 to the Alcazar. We loved wandering around the narrow streets and looking into the patios and courtyards that were open during the Patio Festival.
Booking through the hotel website and emails was clear and easy to do.
Our standard double room, number 251, with windows overlooking a nice inner courtyard was clean, quiet and a bit crowded with some very nice furniture pieces and rich color choices. There was plenty of hot water in the modern bathroom. I appreciated an electrical outlet near the bed for a CPAP or chargers. The TV in the room serves as the viewing screen for your computer keyboard - very handy if you didn't bring your own tablet or laptop, but a bit tricky and slow.. Breakfast was good with several choices, included with the room, and made to order.
The service was outstanding. Right from the beginning we were given directions and a Patio Festival Map that made navigating very easy during our 2 day stay. As soon as we walked in Pedro grabbed our suitcases and walked us up the one flight to our room. He also produced an extra suitcase rack for us. When we asked Juan a question about the computer in the room, he immediately came to the room to show us how it worked. One evening there was a problem with the toilet. Within 2 minutes, Juan was at our door. Unable to resolve the issue, he left and returned about 5 minutes later with the person responsible. Time from reporting the problem until resolution? about 25 minutes. When we left Cordoba, Pedro and Juan arranged for us to have a slightly earlier breakfast because we had to catch an early train.
We would certainly recommend this hotel and stay here again.

This hotel is really welcoming and comfortable. We cannot recommend it more highly! If you read the other reviews you will see that some people have had problems with parking. You shouldn't let this put you off, but it is probably worth checking your route before you come. We were really lucky - it turns out that if you come on a Sunday there is free parking for the day near the hospital on some of the spaces along the road (not IN the hospital, just near it). Then you have to pay from 9am on Monday. It is a really great hotel - easy to walk around the main sites of Cordoba, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

This lovely small hotel is in the city center, and has parking which is a rare commodity. Our room was very special and had it own terrace where we could have breakfast, which was included in the cost. Easy access to all sites and a courteous helpful staff
