We spent hours trying to find this hotel with the confusing one way streets but ended up parking in a garage and taking a cab to the hotel. Not their fault, but certainly frustrating for us. Once we arrived we were treated like royalty, our room was superb and we had a lovely time sightseeing in Cordoba. I would suggest if you are driving to find a cab who will guide you and your car to the hotel. Otherwise, the hotel was so well located that it was simple to walk to everything we wanted to see. Breakfast was amazing - too much food! I would go back anytime.

Without doubt this hotel deserves its high rating on trip advisor. We booked for 5 nights in December, had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning. The hotel is typical of traditional houses in Cordoba, which are built around a central open air courtyard. Our room was immaculate and spacious as was the beautifully tiled bathroom. It also had the benefit of an outdoor terrace, which would be great in the summer months.

All the staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel is in La Juderia area of Cordoba, which is a maze of narrow streets. There are many historic sites nearby such as the Mezquita and the Alcazar and an abundance of restaurants to suit every budget.

If you have to time it’s also worthwhile walking to other parts of town such as Plaza La Corredera, which is a large colonnaded square full of bars and restaurants and Santa Marina for the patios of the Palacio del Marques de Viana and a beer at Rincon de las Beatillas.

After a long kerfuffle involving driving in circles for about three hours due to the weird layout of the city of Cordoba (weird to outsiders, anyway! it becomes easier once you've been there for a bit), we finally made it to the hotel. And thank goodness we did! This place was an absolute godsend for us after all of the trouble we had navigating around that day. The woman at the desk was warm and welcoming, allowing us to go up to our room while she got us all checked in and bringing us tea after.

The room itself was beautiful-- the furniture antique, but clean and well-preserved. The bathroom was immaculate and big, and we had no issues with hot water, etc. Our room also had a small terrace, which would have been amazing in the summer time, and which overlooked a nice little courtyard. The TV had the option of being watched in English (somehow my mom figured that one out, not sure how).

Breakfast here is free, huge, and delicious. We were not expecting the sheer amount of food that came with our meal, and it was all very good! The OJ tasted fresh-squeezed, the bread was fresh and not stale, and the tea/coffee very hot. It was also delivered to our room for free.

The hotel itself is in the middle of the old Jewish quarter, which is very quaint and cute to walk around. It is close to the Mosque/Cathedral and the Casa de Sefarad/Synagogue. Great location!

The woman working at the desk also recommended that, for future reference, it is possible to get a taxi driver to drive to the hotel and have you follow him in your car. It is much easier than trying to find it yourself, and cheaper in the long run than getting lost. Why waste your time and gas?

This hotel is nicely maintained, well situated, with good service and a great location. We liked walking to everything. The rooms are differently sized and shaped but are all interesting. The lower floors open into an interior courtyard, which can occasionally have noises of people coming and going. We listened to a young child screaming early one morning, but the others in our party were upstairs and heard nothing.

All in all, it was a great hotel.

Room Tip: Downstairs for charm, upstairs for quiet.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over New Years Eve. The room was very large even though it had just a double bed, which is not uncommon in Europe. As we were driving a mini van the staff asked us to park the car ourselves as they did not want to assume responsibility and indeed it proved to be quite an experience in the small quarters of its garage. The breakfast was very nice and we enjoyed this hotel and its location in Cordoba.

We checked in after a long drive. The staff parked the car for us. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautifully spacious room, with computer. The location is very central for all tourist attractions. Pedro at the desk was amazing. We were given breakfast in a small sitting room close to our room on our own. We would have been very happy to stay more than the one night that we had booked.

Wonderful hotel with lots of character (the good kind!). The hotel is located on a "street" that was so narrow we had to fold in the car mirrors on our compact rental car. Nice sized rooms. Very clean. The front desk service was a cut above. Great location. The hotel's restaurant (down the street) was excellent.
