This resto was recommended by our walking tour guide and indeed lived up to my expectations! Try the fried aubergines (just do half as portion is huge) and oxtail stew. Very yummy. Oh this pl has wifi too which was great!

We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch and were so thrilled that we did. All 10 of us had a freshly prepared and delicious meal. I especially enjoyed the ajo blanco (cold almond soup) - nothing like I've ever had before - and the eggplant fries with honey drizzled on top. Amazing!

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Alcazar Reales. It's past the Real Callberizas which makes it harder to come across, I guess that's why it was full of locals. Great tapas or substantial raciones and very good value - only a slightly undercooked chicken pinchito stopped me from awarding a full 5.

We had a very young waiter but he was excellent - knew his job and was quick and attentive.

On the edge of the old city we stumbled across this beautiful restaurant. Lunch menu of the day was E 10 - including a drink and 2 courses. Service was friendly, efficient and speaking English was no problem. The internal courtyard is delightful, the music chilled and the staff were efficient courteous and really seemed to care if we were happy with the meal. We had chicken and calamari, both we're delicious.

There was even a complimentary dessert at the end of the meal.

Well worth checking out if you want a traditional meal after visiting Alcazar in a beautiful setting.

The Restaurant is in the very old part of Cordoba, outsider the bussy streets where you can have gifts and fastfood.
We ordered the meal of the day, which included a drink, starter, main, postres. As starter we could choose Russian Salad, freshly prepared and Ajoblanco a cold soup. I never tried it but it was fantastic. Main a Nice Code fish filet or a kind of Fish cookie, both where excellent. At last a freshly prepared Orange Sorbet. We closed the meal with a glass of Fino and Cortado (strong coffee).
Now the Joke... We paid Euro 22,20 for the both of us. Meal of the day Euro 10,- Fino €1, coffee €1,20
Unfortunate we stayed in Seville and Cordoba was a daytrip otherwise we would eat there everyday. Sofar this was the best food during our Holiday at a ridicuul price

Thank Erik H
