Very noisy hotel. The bar outside is open late and echos very far along the narrow street, and you can hear everything going on in neighboring rooms. The bathroom smells bad. Currently there are roadworks outside too! Avoid. Cordoba is small, I think hotels slightly further out are better value.

Located in the center of Cordoba in a pedestrian zone, the hotel is within walking distance to historical sites. The disadvantage is that the garage is some 500 m away and the reception is on the first floor, so do not bring any heavy luggage. The room was small but had a nice view of the picturesque Plaza de las Tendillas. A band stage was set in the square, probably to celebrate May 1, but it rained, so the evening was quiet. Even the tower clock was gentle: instead of bells it uses guitar strings to announce time. The receptionist tried to charge me for the room although it was prepaid, so always bring along your receipt. Overall, the hotel and the city were a very pleasant experience.

If you want a 2* hotel right in the centre overlooking the main square with a public car park a few metres away this is the one, but ask for a top floor room overlooking the square. We did not have trouble with noise and had a great view of the main square where we could watch the holiday celebrations showing flamenco dancing. We liked this little hotel- no trouble with the room size - great big bathroom. The TV had no English channels but the hotel is only 2 * so we did not really expect it. The lift starts at the first floor which is where the reception is. This can be a problem but if you buzz reception they will send the lift down. It is a great location with bars and restaurants seconds away. Breakfast is basic but toast and coffee only costs a couple of euros so what can you expect. We loved Cordoba and the situation of this hotel enabled us to enjoy it easily.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor overlooking the main square for the best view and less noise.

I didn't like this hotel at all, but try to be objective as I can be.
The hotel was just in the center. But Cordoba is really small place, so you can walk to everywhere in a very short time. so don't need a hotel in the center...in my opinion.
From bus station to hotel, you can walk but if you have big luggage, use bus no 3 but get off at the 3. stop even 2. stop is fine too; otherwise u may walk back to center as we did :)
our room was looking to the inside, it was dark. as a room looking to street. and finally about the walls:
* I have read about paper wall of the rooms (thin wall), but it is not true..because it is just like there is no wall in the hotel even no paper wall. You can hear any thing coming from at the other side of the hotel. the hotel building itself was just like a living organism. When using toilet, or using the tap, there were some voices coming from the building...well, at least I am happy that we stayed only one night here.
didn't use the breakfast, there was a cafe&te under the hotel, had a menu for breakfast for 3 €. recommend it for a breakfast.

This was a really nice little hotel really conveniently located right in the centre of the city, about 10 minutes’ walk from the train station and a further 5 minutes’ walk from the Mezquita and riverside.

The hotel overlooks one of the main squares in the city and is located on the floors above a café and bank. Photos on the staircase show the building (and the hotel) have been here for some considerable time, but it’s clearly been refurbished at some point in the last few years as the room was pretty modern.

Room was comfortable and whilst the bathroom was a little pokey it was very clean.

Just to pick up on some of the comments from other people who have stayed here.
Lift - There is a lift, but it only runs from the 1st floor up, you have to call reception to get it sent down, but when I stayed the staff on reception were perfectly happy to do this.
Noise – This is a hotel in the centre of a Spanish city overlooking a major square lined with café’s and bars. Spanish cities are not quiet places, especially in the evenings, but the double glazing in the rooms kept most of the noise out. If you don’t want to be disturbed in a hotel in a Spanish city then you need to book one away from the main squares.

The only negative I can really say about the hotel is that the breakfasts weren’t spectacular, but that is being really picky.

Overall, a really nice and fantastically well located hotel with helpful and friendly staff.

Room Tip: I stayed in room 201 which faced onto a side street rather than the squre itself so had slightly les...

If you just want a bed (but not for light sleepers) for the night then this is good value and very well situated. On the corner of Plaza Tendillas, lots of cafês, bars and shops close by. Just a few minutes walk to the major sights.

Clean, safe and noisy. Up a flight of, narrow, stairs to the first floor reception. Breakfast has to be ordered the day before but lots of places nearby do 'desayuno'.

15 mins walk from the train station. Córdoba is a great city to visit and I would, for the price and location, definately stay here again.

Plaza de Tendillas, 6 minutes walk from Mezquita, breakfast «habitual» at a fare price, AC, a good quality/price hotel. From Plaza de Tendillas, just outside la Juderia, you can walk about everywhere within 10-15 minutes; and on the Plaza and nearby there are a full of restaurants, tapas' bar, and... a lot of stores to do shopping. Appreciate Cordoba, a World Patrimonio Sitio.
