It was enchanting! It's always interesting to learn from other times and places, the relationship to our living space an how others dealt with the elements, here the heat of the day!

“really calm and charming”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2012

We visited this house in a really sunny day -like days are generally in Cordoba- it was a lovely, chilly place to spend an hour. If you go there, you can feel the quintessential of the atmosphere of Cordoba. Little rooms, corners, fountains, old furnitures, impressing citations and flowers... A really calm, but living place, where you can forget the swelter outside:)

if you really want to see the real andalusian atmosphere , visit Casa Andalusi . I met there the founder ( Mrs. Salma alfarouqy) and she was very nice and welcoming and explaining everything from her heart . the casa will take you through a joyful trip to the andalusian lifestyle .

“What a jewel”

Upstairs is gorgeous. The basement is simply magical. Roman-era tiling, medieval tools and craftsmanship. Very much worth the token fee to visit.

“A little slice of life from the Moorish period”

Casa Andalusi was quite lovely. However we could tell that some of the art and instillations were completely contemporary.
