Great hotel with a very good location! Service was good. Cordoba is a great place. Got an upgrade to an executive room that was very spacious. Pool on the roof was nice in the heat. Breakfast as expected at NH was great.

My room #214 faced a wall but was comfortable, with twin beds, single sink in the bathroom. The closet doors were off track and wouldn't open/close but maintenance came immediately to fix them. There was good bedside lighting for those who read in bed and a desk with desk chair but no armchair. The bed was very comfortable (My back protests when it's not.)

I'd intended to use the computer to check e-mail but in the evening the lady at reception said it would cost 10 euros per 15 minutes, which was so exorbitant I couldn't believe it and waited til morning and asked someone else who said it would be .35 euros per minute which means 21 euros per hour = somewhere like $28=/- an hour so I waited til I got back to Madrid to check messages.

The breakfast in the patio was excellent, a very good assortment of hot and cold foods, with eggs being cooked fresh, orange juice freshly squeezed, free newspapers.

This hotel is a mixture of Andalucian courtyards and modern purpose built bedrooms. We found the service friendly and the room value for money. There was even a chair and desk in the bedroom with a gratis pen and notepad on the locker. The double lift is quirky and you can have a game betting which door will open. The breakfast at 12.50 Euros is three times what a roll and coffee costs at a pastry shop nearby so those on a budget have their desayuno elsewhere. A taxi from the railway station costs abot 5 Euros and is well worth the money as you will be living in a medieval maze. Arrival by own vehicle is difficult and I did not notice a parking area. Keeping luggage a few extra hours is part of the service.

Room Tip: The hotel is in a quiet location. For people with joint problems there are quite a few steep steps t...

This hotel is in the heart of the old walled city but it is a modern hotel. The rooms are a good size for a European hotel and the bathroom was a nice size. One of the great things about this hotel is that has been built into the wall that surrounds the city, which means that you have access from both sides.

The only issues we had were finding the hotel and the room temperature. You can drive right up to the hotel on the inside but the streets are very narrow and depending on when you arrive full of tourists. We ended up parking in the public parking which is built into the wall that surrounds the city and is accessed from the outside of the wall. Then walked the half block to the entrance that has been built into the city wall.

The room was very warm so we tried to change the thermostat. Since it was December we tried to change the heat in the room and when it would not adjust we called the front desk. They sent up a maintenance staff member who did not speak English and could not explain that it was centrally controlled but just shook his head and stated that there was nothing he could do. There was nothing in the room stating that the AC was centrally managed and the front desk clerk's english was not significant to explain what was happening.

Room Tip: As for a room that faces the old city.

Apart from extremely hard to find even with a GPS and following the street signs, the hotel is perfectly situated in Cordoba. All the attractions are walking distance as well as many bars, restaurants...
Word of advice, park in the secured carpark in the wall, it's 12 euros compare to 20 at the hotel and easy to access. There is a shortcut from the hotel as well.
For a chain hotel, the breakfast is great, eggs cooked to order, fresh fruits, cold cuts, yogurt and more
Room was large, quiet with decent bathroom. Beds are comfortable.

Very nice location, just inside city wall and near to the Mezquita. Best to park in car park 100meters outside the city wall, which is 7 euros a night cheaper and much easier to access! The hotel has some nice moorish touches around it, atriums and walled gardens. But it is essentially a standard NH hotel which is fine.
We had a superior room which had a nice queen size bed and large bathroom, and a clean modern finish.
The main room negatives, which weren't so bad for us were - noisy buzzing fridge, slight drain smell at times, the outer door jammed once and a cleaner had to get us out! Main negative with hotel is the lack of a pleasant bar area.
But generally a good choice.

Room Tip: Use car park just outside city wall, 100 meters from hotel... Cheaper and much easier access

Perfect hotel for a weekend break, central location in the historic part of Córdoba, within walking distance to the Mosque and next to the Synagogue.

Even if the building with its courtyards has lots of character, the rooms are rather standard but good value considering the location in the heart of Córdoba.

Don't miss the Casa Mazal restaurant next to the Hotel in a very small alley, you will be served delicious traditional sephardic food!
