The room I had was clean, spacious and very well appointed and offered a view of the covered courtyard of the hotel. The location was within easy walking distance to most historic things we wanted to see in Cordoba--mezquita-cathderal, old roman bridge, city walls, etc.--only the medina al zahara was a drive away.
Thank heavens for the car's GPS! Due to road construction and narrow streets, some of which are poorly marked, the approach to the hotel was tricky. We had to fold in the car's rear view mirrors to pass through the last super-narrow roadway to arrive at the plaza in front of the hotel.
When it was time to store our car for the night, we did ask a hotel employee to park our car in the basement garage as we were intimidated by steep curved ramp. They obliged no problem.
We opted NOT to have breakfast at the hotel, instead going to an inexpensive local place just minutes away.More
