Tom-Tom had a little trouble finding this hotel but is was worth the hunt. Rooms are average size with small but clean bathroom. Good price and breakfast plentiful. Would go back.

I was very happy with staying at this hotel. Especially considering the location, right next to the entrance to the Mezquita, it is a great price. The staff were very nice and always made an effort. I liked the marble floors and the bed was comfortable.

I will say that I did not quite understand the breakfast. It was a buffet breakfast and they put out a lot of very good food (yogurt, juice, cheescake, bread, ham, marmalades and pates). What I didn't understand was that there was no toaster for the bread. I wound up making a sort of sandwich with tomato, ham and bread. It was alright but it would have made more sense to me to have the marmalades and pates if there was a toaster. My partner ate cheesecake for breakfast which was good but again a little bit confusing as a breakfast item. It's not just that it's a Spanish breakfast I think because we had stayed in 6 other b&b's in Andulucia before getting to Cordoba. So I definitely recommend this hotel as I was happy with it in every other way, but you may consider finding a cafe for breakfast after checking out the breakfast spread. It's very good food just perhaps needs more of an explanation.

Room Tip: Room 25 was wonderful and has both a balcony and a window that look directly at the Mezquita.

The hotel is perfect located for a short stay in Córdoba if you want to have all the major attractions within walking distance.

However, If you want a hotel for at prolonged stay (3 or more nights) you should only book Hotel Mezquita if you can get a room with a window to the outside. We got a room where daylight only came from a window facing a courtyard that had a ceiling (as the courtyard is turned into a restaurant where breakfast is served).

When deciding on whether to book Hotel Mezquita take into consideration that breakfast (7 EUR per person) is not included in the price. As it didn't look tempting wee opted for a breakfast in a nearby café.

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with windows to the outside.

This little hotel is located right outside of the main gate of the unbelievably amazing Mezquita, the its lobby resembles living rooms of a mansion. Unfortunately, everything else is not up to the similar level. The room was very basic, and you can hear lots of commotion around in the middle out the night. Mind you, I wasn't living anywhere near the elevator or reception. The breakfast was very meager, considering its 6 euros per person. And there is not wifi in the room. The place overall is fine, given the experience of living right by the Mezquita. But I do think its overpriced for its quality.

This hotel is located right next to the Mezquita in Cordoba, Spain. It used to be a private mansion. It is filled with beautiful antiques and paintings. The rooms are a nice size and very comfortable with private baths.
There is wifi throughout the hotel.

Caught a great deal traveling to Cordoba in Feb.
The hotel was richly decorated and adorned with artifacts and beautiful paintings. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. Our room faces the street along the Mezquita wall. It was amazing to be so close to something so old and rich in history. The marble floor would be wonderful in the summer but really cold in the winter times. So if you are traveling in colder seasons like us, bring some slippers. The hotel has citrus scented airco and at points it got a bit too much for me. But I usually stay away from scented household products all-together. Therefore, may not be too bad for those who aren't sensitive to scents. Parking or even driving in this quarter is pretty impossible, especially if you are not from there. We got lucky because there was construction along the river which made a whole street free parking. However I'd advice not to get into the historic quarter in a car at all. the hotel's so close to the river, you are better off finding parking along the river or on the opposite side which is more residential and car friendly. Definitely explore the city on foot. It was really amazing and you will stumble upon historic sites every other step.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the Mezquita.

We spent two nights at this hotel. The main reason to visit Cordoba is to see the Mezquita and this hotel is directly opposite one of the entrances - literally a few paces away. A terrific location.

The rooms are basic but comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. Some have views of the Mezquita. Breakfast is also available at the hotel, served in a covered atrium (with heaters for the cooler weather) - again, basic but sufficient.

We found staff very helpful. They also organised a taxi for us to get to the train station for our next trip to Granada.

Other major sites in Cordoba - the Alcazar and Royal Stables if you're interested - are only a short walk from the hotel. It's ideally situated.
