One of the most unusual hotels that we have stayed in. The decor is striking in a minimalist and tasteful way; so unlike other Spanish hotels that we have stayed in. The ambience is relaxing, charming and welcoming. The staff are extremely friendly and really concerned for their guests welfare and comfort. If more mood music is required tout guests at their ease, try "Bachianas Brasilieras" by heitor Villa Lobos!

On the eastern side of the town, this hotel was a gem. Many of the bigger hotels in the old town are swarming with tourists and awash with cheap souvenir shops. Viento 10 is down a passageway in a quiet area with locals. A sympathetically restored hospital, there is a lot of glass, stone and white plaster. A little blue spa is free. Our room had two roof lights which created a nice atmosphere quite different from the run of the mill. You might love this or hate it. Breakfasts were stunning with great coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and warm baked rolls. If you stay more than 3 nights this could become a bit same same. I loved it and would visit again when next we return. A very special place to stay with a great host and good service.

WE stayed here for unfortunately only one night. It was a last minute decision late in building our itenerary for our trip. We loved the calm of this place and found Geraldo to be the most gracious host, his daughter was also so helpful in insuring our needs were met. The rooms are designed for rest and relaxation, best sleep I had on our 15 day trip. It is so well situated and quiet at night, it is very easy to walk to places of interest. I walked along the river in the morning a beautful stroll.
There is wonderful attention to detail in the way the hotel is set up, elements such as use of color, light, objects even air flow. You can hear the church bells outside peeling which almost brings tears to your eyes.
The breakfast was lovely, a taste sensation with each bite.
Thank-you for the wonderful discussions and sharing your dream of your place with us. Anyone coming to Cordoba should definitely stay here!
Next time we will stay longer.

Room Tip: They were all excellent!

This 14th hospital has been lovingly restored over a period of 5 years into an amazing boutique hotel. We went when it was very hot (45 degrees outside) and this was a paradise of calm and cool.

They have a spa which you can just use and a terrace on the roof if you want to bake yourself. It is ten minute walk from the old quarter and just on the running track along the river.

The owner and his daughter are charming and make you feel very welcome in way feels like their home.

The rooms are modern and have all the mod cons and are very relaxing after a day of wandering around the ancient city. Free wifi is a must in hotels now I believe and they have fast download and upload speed.

And the best bit for me was the yummy breakfast, possibly the best breakfast I have had in a boutique hotel, all served to you personally. They make you feel like a king and queen.

Really there is nothing more to say than, go stay there, it's brilliant!

This is an interesting and beautiful place, a mixture of ultra-modern rooms with old-style arches and an open common space in the middle. Breakfast is also unusual and definitely worth the extra 7 euros. The place has a special atmosphere and the owner, Geraldo, has lots of useful tips for visitors as well as insights about Spain and Spanish society. This boutique hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the main attractions of Cordova, so the location is very convenient too. A really nice experience.

My roommate and I were just at the hotel the beginning of July on a visit to Spain with my mother. We all found Viento 10 to be a beautiful point of calm. The property is located on a small side pedestrian street a simple 15 minute walk from the main historic district. It has a simple unassuming exterior, but when you walk through the front door you enter a simply striking interior space. The space is just gorgeous and should be featured in a magazine spread. The owner has obviously invested a great deal of work and time to create an "experience" of relaxation and calm upon entering--you just feel the stress melt away. And while speaking of the owner, both he and his daughter could not have made us feel more welcome and comfortable. The owner even tells you to feel comfortable walking around in your bare feet throughout the entire property--it makes it feel like its your own personal home.
The Viento also has a roof top terrace that we used at night for a glass of wine and a respite from a day of walking the city. It was on the roof top that we also had a very memorable experience when we hear what we think was a Muslim call to pray. In addition, the Viento also has a whirlpool and sauna area, which you reserve for a private experience and yet another point of relaxation.
Our rooms also included breakfast, which was very enjoyable and refreshing way to start the day.
Our only regret in staying here was that we were not able to stay longer.

We’ve stayed in lots of hotels over the years, but this lovely little boutique hotel with just 7 rooms is truly unique. As many other reviewers have mentioned, it’s like an oasis, with the incense burning in the hallways, calming the senses. Beautiful architecture, minimalist, with great attention to detail. The beds are comfortable and breakfast is delicious, with fresh orange juice, warm toast and croissants and wonderful organic green tea! Gerardo is the perfect host, very friendly. Volveremos. Muchas gracias, Gerardo!
