“Good Hotel, Friendly Staff ...bacon?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 29, 2013

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely, clean, beautiful hotel. It is literally right next to the world- renowned Cathedral and close to plenty of shops and restaurants and all the sites. Tiny gripe - but one that most Spanish hotels seems to find difficult - is that bacon should be crispy and not boiled.

The hotel is situated right outside the Mezquita. We were fortunate enough to have a large room on the first floor overlooking the tower. The room and bathroom were spotless and very large with all the amentities you expect from Eurostars. If you need a parking space be sure to specify this when booking as parking in the hotel is limited and you can't park outside. Also make sure you get good directions as you actually drive in a restricted zone around the Mezquita to get to the hotel.

Room Tip: If you don't like noise (people and bells) ask for a room at the back. Our corner front-facing r...

We booked this hotel becouse of the great location and it really is very good located, right by the mozquita and in the middle of the the jewich quarter. The rooms were a bit small but very clean and of a good 3 star standard. The Stuff was freindly but not especially helpfull. Parking is easy and the Hotel is easy to find we just followed the indication, At the poll the name of the hotel has to be mentioned and the poll opens. the Garage is directly next to the entrance of the hotel. Breakfast was good and hat something for every tast

We booked this hotel based on location, which is great for walking in the center of Córdoba.
There is a cab stand on the same street when leaving the city. We found that it we could hear a lot of sounds outside of our room, like people walking, talking, etc.
The room was very clean with the basics, including a nice hairdryer.
Upon checking out we found that there is only one computer terminal at the reception desk. A long line formed when a family of 6 showed up without reservations and their check in took 10 minutes. When we returned to pick up our luggage from the holding area 3 hours later, we observed a similar situation. One person working reception, and a rather long line of people waiting to check in. Luckily my son spotted our suitcases and went behind the counter to retrieve them.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking the interior patio.

we stayed here for 2 nites and enjoyed it immensely. fabulous ambiance. staff was nice and helpful. located 2 steps away from the mozquita- couldn't be better! we had a wonderful room- #141- overlooking the beautiful inner courtyard. was a large room with a full bath. the only room which has 2 sets of double doors opening up onto a view of the courtyard. would def recommend this hotel for others and would gladly go back myself!

Room Tip: ask for 141- overlooks the beautiful inner courtyard. was v quiet at nite.

Maimonides hotel has the perfect location. Just in front of the grand mosque and in the middle of it all. To access is it you will need to walk with your luggage from the nearest access point to the old town, unless you are coming with a cab, so travel light and with wheeled luggage.

The rooms are nice, modern and roomy. Highly recommended for visiting this amazing monument and the old alleyways of Cordoba.

Hotel Eurostars Maimonides is a good hotel. The location is great – on the back side of the cathedral/mosque of Cordoba. Most of the touristic sites are within walking distance.

The hotel is in a small and quiet street at the old part of the city. Cars are not allowed to enter to this part so it is very quiet, but it was also a bit difficult to get to the hotel with the car. Hotel guests are allowed to drive to the hotel, and there is a parking in the basement of the hotel (paid).

Although this is an old building, the hotel is in good shape.
My room was in good size, clean and comfortable.

The 2 things I wasn't happy with are – the central air condition that wasn't cooling enough for me and the staff which didn't provide a good service.

For me, the location and parking made it a good choice.
