Description: SELECTED BY GUIA MICHELIN 2017. Restaurant and tavern located since 1920 next to the Almodovar Gate, one of the medieval wall entrance. You can enjoy typical Andalusian as well as local food. Specialty in fried food. Amazing rooftop terrace next to the ancient wall.

Good tapas at a decent price, in the historic centre of town. A lot of options are available from small tapas to full size dishes, ranging from traditional (tortilla) to more elaborate. Excellent chocolate dessert, which is a major departure from the usual bland desserts you get so often in Spain. Service was OK, a bit slow at time but staff was helpful and accomodative (we had a pram and loads of wet gear as we got caught in the rain). The outside is very uninviting but the inside has a very traditional feel to it. Will go back next time I visit Cordoba

Located just by one of the city guides it is just a 5 min walk from the mezquita. Tapas we tried was great (ox tail and pork) and service was very friendly.

Good tapas, friendly and helpful staff and inexpensive. Service was very attentive. Don't be put off by the cafe style metal tables outside, inside is a substantial yet traditional Spanish restaurant that
during our visit was frequented by many locals.

Waiter was very helpful in helping us choose a selection of tapas and dishes - even told us when we were about to order too much! Food was good service excellent. Restaurant was in centre and obviously caters for tourists but despite this it was a pleasant and good value evening with minimal fuss.

After visiting several restaurants from the top of Córdoba restaurants rating we decided that this one is the best and stopped our culinary wanderings in order to dedicate the rest of our stay to this place. Why look for the good thing if you already have one?! We made a point of tasting all the items from the tapas menu and all of the were just delicious. My personal preferences are mazamorra cordobesa, patatas moriscas and riñones de cordero. The wine is a bit expensive, but very good. It is very conveniently located, just a couple of steps from the Puerta del Almodóvar. I definitely would recommend visiting this restaurant.
