We went on a special offer (groupon) so I can't comment on the normal prices, but it's just so boring! What am I missing? Twenty little portions of cold white rice, with the smallest sliver of something on top. A tiny dollop of wasabi and a minute portion of pickled ginger to try to liven it up. Is this what sushi is all about? Surely there must be more to Japanese cuisine? My husband was fascinated by the chef at his stainless steel "plancha", cooking egg fried rice and other delicacies, but as that wasn't included in our menu, we didn't get to try it. This certainly isn't the way to get new customers - as restaurant owners and chefs, we can see the enormous profits margins, but I certainly won't be in a hurry to try sushi again, unless somebody can promise me it's going to TASTE of something!
