I have no idea how they manage to make such a delicious tortilla. The slices are generous and propped at the bar with a glass of fino, you may just think you have died and gone to tortilla heaven. Excellent.
Came for the famous slice of Tortilla. Are it at the bar, but some did take it to go. Was one of the best I've had. Warm and the right amount of salt. A lot of potato in it, so it wouldn't probably hold up for you to eat later.
The tortilla is good, however not the best I ever tried... It's a very touristic spot, many people eating in front of the place, seating on the stones of the Mezquita.
The staff at my hostel "recommended" this place (i.e., were probably friends with the owner) and claimed it was famous for its tortillas and the local speciality of Salmorejo. They took a big group of us there, recommending that we try both. I did; the tortilla was the worst I've had in Spain (lukewarm, very little flavour, too much potato, small portion for the price) and the Salmorejo almost put me off the dish until I tried it again in a better place. At over €5 for a bad snack and a small drink I felt a little ripped off.
