This restaurant seems a bit out of the way from the main attractions of Cordoba but it's only a 10 mins detour if coming from the train station. The waiter couldn't speak English but we managed to communicate (there are English menus). The waiter was very friendly and told us about the specials of the restaurant. Very prompt service & he also came to check on us a few times to make sure that everything was ok. The food was delicious. (We had the grilled eggplant and the oxtail). We were also offered complimentary dessert.
I would definitely recommend this place (the decor is quite interesting too with the pictures of matadors).

Completely non touristy and down a little side street in a residential part of the city, twenty minutes walk from the Juderia. Excellent food and cracking local and national wines. Very friendly owner and staff. If no Spanish then come with a phrase book but all adds to the experience!

This is a terrific restaurant that is off the beaten path. Well worth the effort to get there. The owner speaks no english but makes ever effort to make you feel special. Manu available in english. If you go before 10pm it will be empty and the restaurant is in the back so you have to walk through the bar but don't shy away because you will miss a great experience. We had the Tuna and the Pork Cheeks and both were fantastic. Great price and wine selection as well.

Casual rustic restaurant behind tapas bar. Had cod crude, yummy fried eggplant with " back honey",fried spider fish and tender oxtails. Owner/waiter was very amiable, gave us dessert and Pedro Ximenez dessert wine.

We went there because of the Trip Advisor recommendations. It lived up to its reputation. Manolo was welcoming, helpful and very generous. The menu as most of the typical Cordovan dishes. It is off the tourist track and therefore not crowded and reasonably priced.
