Hard to find any negative, The location is ideal, just next to the old city, 5 minutes from the juderia. Service is very nice and proactive, you're received by a glass of champaign. The staff is helpful. Rooms are very nice furbished, modern and clean, There is a whirlpool in every room, The Hotel has a very nice swimming pool on top and a nice pool bar. Despite all that, the price is fair. A high conviction recommendation.

We (my husband, father and I) stayed at this 5 star hotel just on the outskirts of the old quarter of Cordoba for 2 nights in May 2014. It is a very smart, trendy, minimalist hotel, principally of glass with a pierced metal exterior.

There is an undercover car park underneath the hotel which cost about Euros 18.75 per day. The ramp down to the car park is exceptionally steep. Check in was very quick and efficient and the staff were helpful.

We had reserved a superior King room for 3 people. We were allocated a room on the 1st floor at the back of the hotel (not quite the view we had been expecting to have with our room) with a public pathway below our room, which was a little noisy at night when people walked passed talking loudly. Therefore, the sound insulation is not very good from the outside, but to be fair we did not hear any noise from other guests. The metal screen (architect's artistic feature) on the exterior of the building expands in the heat and contracts in the cool of the night, so we heard the metal creaking and contracting throughout the night. However, the air conditioning is excellent and exceptionally quiet, which was a plus. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows.

The room is trendy (lots of black), and there was a black glass sliding door between the sleeping area and the bathroom area. The bathroom area consisted of a shower room surrounded by glass panels. There were 2 showers opposite one another so you could have strong jets of water pointing at you from 2 directions. There was also a jacuzzin bath in the same bathroom. The toilet and bidet room were separate from the bathing area and had a back sliding glass door for privacy. There were double sinks in another part of the bathing area, with a small area for hanging clothes, as well as a safe and some shelves for clothes.

Breakfast was served in the dining room behind reception. There was a good selection of breakfast items to choose from - fresh fruit juice, cereals, bread, rolls, croissants, cakes, sliced fresh fruit, yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, and hotel items such as bacon, sausages, eggs, tomatoes, and teas and coffee. The waiting staff were very helpful and friendly.

There is a restaurant in the hotel for an evening meal, but we did not use it as we walked across the road into the old Juderia quarter of Cordoba and ate in a restaurant near the Mezquita.

This is a nice hotel and very conveniently located, though 2 night was enough for us as we prefer more traditional hotels, but we just wanted to try it out. It is probably more suited to business travellers than holiday makers. However, it was excellent value for money and very reasonable, particuarly for a 5 star hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor.

We had a lot of fun during our 2 nights in Cordoba, partly because of this hotel. It truly is a 5-star hotel, and what's amazing is if you watch the Eurostars special offers page like a hound, you can get it for a real bargain too!

The Good:
- Upon check in, we were greeted warmly, given a welcome drink voucher since we booked directly on their website
- We were given a map of the patio festival, since we were there during that time (May 2014).
- The reception desk had 2 carafes of water, 1 with lemons and 1 with oranges. We availed ourselves of this on many an occasion due to the heat.
- While the hotel charges for underground parking, street parking is free all around the hotel, although depending on the time it could be hard to find a spot.
- The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the historic quarter, and 10 minutes at most to the Mezquita. Despite that, it is in a perfectly driveable part of town (nice wide, 4 lane roads with street parking all around)
- Buses to Madinat Azahara stop right across the street.
- I needed to print boarding passes and a copy of my passport, and staff at the reception desk were happy to do this for me, asking me to simply email them the documents.

The Not-so-good (Mildly annoying at the most):
- The rooftop pool and bar are fantastic, although they do not offer views of the city (this was a bit of a let down).
- I was surprised to find the room wasn't equipped with an iron. I had a wrinkly shirt that I remembered to iron out at the last minute, but wasn't able to. I'm sure guest services could have handled it, but didn't seem worth the bother.

I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: You won't really have a view from your room, because of the weird looking iron facade. However...

I stayed at teh Eurostars Palace Hotel for 2 days while travelling in the south of Spain on holidays.
Location is great, right next to a lovely Market where you can find all different types of food and has a great area to drink and eat with friends.
It is not far from the city center, but at the same time far enough not to be surrounded by tourists all the time.
It is a modern hotel, great structure, great room and bathroom, with an great view from the hotel pool in the rooftop.
Staff not so friendly, actually some of them a bit rude.
The mais problema to me is that I can't understand why a 5 start hotel won't have anything to eat after 00, only cheese and fruits, in my opinion, unaceptable.

Booked this hotel for a 4 day trip to Cordoba. I did read a couple of reviews with negative feedback but fortunately I ignored them and I was really happy with this accommodation. The bathrooms have twin showers, twin sinks and a jacuzzi. The location was perfect right at the opening of the old town. If driving its also easy to get to and has an underground car park. The rooms are modern and ours was spotlessly clean. We were also on the 6th floor so the view was pretty good although we didn't have a view of the old town from our room. There is a rooftop pool which was relatively quiet during our visit so no problem getting a sunbed late afternoon if you want to relax after sightseeing/shopping. I would recommend booking a room with parking rather than breakfast as there are plenty of cafés for coffee and pastries at a fraction of the cost. There is also Victoria Market a 2 min walk from the hotel entrance turning left. This market specialises in gastronomy so there are some fabulous choices of all sorts of food prepared or cooked on the spot. It is like a market cafe rather than a restaurant so ok for lunch.

One negative is I think some (not all) of the staff at the hotel could have been a little more friendly and smiled a bit more but despite this I would be happy to return.

Don't let the exterior of the hotel put you off - it's clad in metal that has started to rust & looks rather ugly . Inside the decor is very contemporary & the rooms large & scrupulously clean .
Interesting double shower & spacious walk in wardrobe . Breakfast selection was good .
Parking in the underground car park could be expensive but we were lucky to find a space outside.
Old town is just 5 minutes walk away but immediately behind the hotel in Victoria Park is a food mercado where you can choose from a huge range of different food & drink at very reasonable prices. Majority of its customers were locals which is always a good sign .
Loved Cordoba & would definitely use this hotel again .

The photos provided by the management and by the travelers clearly show the high level of the common areas of hotel and of its rooms. The exterior design of the hotel doesn’t impress positively the guests but the interior décor of the large common areas is pleasant even though on the grey side (there are no colors around you and in the rooms).
So this is the first impression you receive when you enter the hotel. A modern structure with a large reception area and a large bar and restaurant area (the same for the breakfast room).
The modern style of the hotel shows itself also in the rooms where you are likely to find a large shower enclosed in glass walls (not all guests will like this choice for the lack of privacy) and a Jacuzzi.
The hotel’s major asset is its nearness to the old town and to the Mezquita. You just cross the street and you enter the center through the old walls of the town, a 10 minute walk and you are at the Mezquita.
This location will allow you to go back and forth from the hotel to the center twice a day (or even three) with a short walk and enjoy the full day in town without a long walk back to your room.
