We stayed here for two weeks and used it as our base to explore Andalusia. The room (427) itself was the largest room I have ever stayed in. The double bed was huge with a wall sized picture window looking south with views of the city and beyond. We turned the sofa around so that we could look out when relaxing. The room was furnished well, in a minimalist style. As mentioned by others the minbar was free, it was predominantly soft drinks and a couple of bottles of beer ( one non alcoholic) but "everybody likes free". There were two minimalist sinks ( no sink plugs, my only complaint) and a double rain shower and Jacuzzi bath. We did not try the bath as the showers were the best I have experienced. The bathroom and toilet ( with bidet) were separate and glass walled, ( the toilet one being non see through). Linen was changed regularly and toiletries provided as they ran out. Storage space was adequate for us, two containers for shoes etc and an open hanging area with shelves. We asked for extra hangers and they were provided the same day. The bathroom, toilet, storage and sink area could be closed off from the bedroom by an opaque glass sliding door. The LCD TV was wall mounted, showing only spanish language stations, but that was no problem as we were not there to watch TV. We went up to the pool a couple of times and it did get busy but we found it too hot ( every day was at least 40C) and preferred our cool bedroom and a cold beer. The hotel staff were friendly and helped us when we had a query. There were daily papers (all Spanish) and a PC with free internet access with unlimited time in the large foyer.
We never bothered with breakfast as it seemed to be expensive and anyway , there were a couple of good cafes just over the road, beside the city walls which we used. The hotel was literally 2 minutes from the city walls and the entrance to the old town. It was just great for exploring and then getting back for a siesta in the afternoon before venturing back out for an evening meal. Some people have mentioned the rusting metal skin on the hotel. It certainly makes the hotel stand out and easy to spot when out and about. Our room was one of the few where the view was not restricted by this skin. We never bothered with the underground car park as we always found spaces on the street outside. Sometimes we were charged 1.10 euros to park when an attendant was there (he will give an offical receipt), but that only happened a couple of times. We would go back there any time!
PS The photos are mine, we always take pictures before we untidy the room.

Room Tip: Try to avoid those rooms where the outer skin obstructs your view

Excellent hotel with a good location at the old citywalls of Corboba.
Very helpfull staff, a nice clean room with free minibar and jacuzzi!
On the roof they have a good swimmingpool with sunbeds, which is excellent at 38 degrees Celcius in the afternoon.

The underground garage is plus, as parkingspace is difficult to find in the area.

Overall I can recommened this hotel to everybody who visit Cordoba.

During a trip to Portugal we visited Cordoba and stayed in the AC Palacio. The rooms were spacious, very comfortable and modern decorated. The friendly staff as well as the superb breakfast made our stay very worthwhile. One tip, don't use the elevator to the top floor heading for the pool, the chance of getting stuck is close to 100%.

Excellent hotel in term of its location especially during summer.. It is close to the historical old centre, so we can always comeback during siesta time and go out until late night without using taxi.. It is also within walking distance from the main station..Although we stay only for one night in cordoba, it was a very pleasant stay.. The room is modernly decorated with a good space usage..large jazzuci tub and double shower.. Separate toilet.. Service was good and helpful.. The best things is the free mini bar when we stayed in this July.. Coke, beers, juices are free.. Internet is free in the lobby area.. Swimming pool is always crowded on the roof...try to book the hotel room on its own website on the early days to get discounts .. The minus thing is there is limited English movie channel.. . It would be perfect to enjoy siesta with good movies in such a comfortable room... Overall it is very good for value....

We used Marriott Reward points to stay here in Dec. 2011, very shortly after you could first use MR points at AC properties -- and it was at a Courtyard rate. That's a good way to think of it. This is primarily a business person's hotel (despite the marginal wireless). I rate it very good because it is the closest mainline hotel to the old Jewish quarter of Cordoba, and a short walk to everything a tourist would want to see. The breakfast buffet was excellent by US standards, average by European. Rooms are utilitarian, Euro modern. The staff were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful on restaurant suggestions and directions, but we had to rely on our Spanish more than you might in Madrid or Barcelona. Bottom line, if you want convenience in Cordoba, and have Marriott points, this is a no-brainer!
