Worth a half day, but make sure you stop to see wild flamingoes in the salt flats, and the stunning limestone cliffs by the sea.
Don't expect any trees, as the flora in this part of Spain is very different to the rest of middle and northern Europe.

You could be in a US desert but it's a few dozen square miles on the coast of Spain. Excellent hiking and some great beaches, quiet in November, just the right weather for exploring this unique area.

Well worth the drive to the very end! Probably better seeing it early morning as the sun is straight at you in the afternoon making some photos too bright.

Beautiful scenery marred by the eyesore of graffiti all along the barrier which is the viewing area for spectacular photos and scenery. The explanation signboard also covered in graffiti.
Why oh why do people think this is fun?
