“Ibiza in the seventies”
Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

A paradise on the south eastern coast of Spain. Great hotels, b&b's restaurants, beach bars etc . This natural park is not tourist Spain so no souvenir and tat, also no Brit egg and chip places. It is popular with "rich" hippies from northern Spain many of whom have holiday homes in villages like las negras and rodalquilar. If you enjoy deserted beaches (many of them clothing optional) beautiful landscape, nature, walking in the hills etc then this place could be for you. Forget about Chanel and Gucci and glamour ; it's Ibiza in the seventies

“Amazing place!”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

I strongly recommend this park. It is so beautiful, you simply feel nature all around. I was there off season and loved it. Bear in mind that during high season it is quite busy. ;) Enjoy!

“Gorgeous natural park!”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

Beautiful park -- some fantastic hikes, beaches and views. Very quiet in the off-season. Would recommend the walking trails. Easily accessible by car or bus from Almeria.

“Beautiful”
Reviewed November 1, 2012 via mobile

Cabo de gata in november is a peaceful and beautiful place.
Beaches are empty apart from a few surfers. The small white house villages with plenty of charme and very welcoming. Temperature is around 20 degrees during the day and although a bit windy it is enough to enjoy walking around in the park. Highly recommended. If you stay at Rodalquilar eat at Taberna Restaurante el Cinto. Nice food very affordable and nice people.
